I'm not entirely sure what to put here. The story follows Kate Lindgren. She's a firefighter from Keilberg who really likes coffee. It's a nice autumn afternoon when the world is thrust into chaos, and Kate along with it.

The story has magic and monsters but also Earth level tech. Figuring out what this is, if you want to come along the ride, check out the first chapter and see if it's something you'd enjoy :).

This has to be the best litrpg I have read. Every line feeds my imagination and makes my understanding grow, making me feel close to the characters like I seldom have. The closest RR serial experience I have had is Magical Girl Gunslinger, for the character feel and closeness, and in a way GitC, for the immersion into the world and vibe.
love it, can’t get enough. Keep it up!

Its pretty good on its own, if you liked Azarinth Healer you should definitely check this one out.
A firefighter made Berserker, the only fire she fights now are the raging one inside her head, trying to cope with her new magic Kate has to learn how adapt to her new reality

Power progression done right with good story and likeable characters.
You can easily follow up how strong the characters are and how much they struggle.
In most other stories (Azarinth Healer including) its I'm a superman by chapter 10 fighting other superman's. The only indication of power is levels, which is fine, but really hard to grasp and believe in most of the cases.

An excellent beginning to this story - what I would expect from Rhaegar. Most of us know the author already from Azarinth Healer.
This is another female main character, with a good  background set-up. Her abilities make sense, as do her weaknesses.
I was drawn in straight away, feeling that the main character is a real person immersed in a real experience. Exactly how it would happen in real life - nothing neat and simple, but everything frightening, incredibly messy and most of all confusing. Things really hurt, people really die, and she's a bit lost in trying to understand what she's doing and what she's experiencing.
On top of this, she finds she has become a berserker - a class which makes her lose all sense and control while she fights. So she herself is creating much of the mess and confusion that she is experiencing.
The setting is interesting, and supports the story.
Rhaegar is an experienced author, and the writing style is clear. The story is well planned and so far totally engaging. There's good grammar and punctuation. The main character is already developing nicely, with some side characters waking into life.
It's early yet, but I hope this story will continue to build on a good start. I will be hugely disappointed if it does not become another Rhaegar success.

    Description
Infrasound Berserker is an apocalypse story that revolves around a Berserker MC (shockers), however, unlike the first thought that comes to mind, our MC is not a reckless havoc wreker.
Struggles with losing control have appeared but have NOT caused frustration I for some reason had anticipated (As of chapter 63)
Main theme is survival against new elements of this world, where armies are not immediately destroyed, but are still too busy to safe a small town in the middle of somewhere.
System is a barely-there type, gives as much power as one is willing to work for, but informs us with nothing but descriptions. It is also a system that creates unique classes and skills on the spot, depending on your achievements. Potential is literally limitless.

I honestly didn't expect that it would be so hard to find a good grind-to-survive book on this site, but it seems most litrpgs start as a first ever project by a freshly baked author, who gets noticeably better at writing as the books goes on. What ends up happening is that most of them learn that they have more fun writing some other genre and so they either drop the book, or evolve it to something else. So many litrpgs end up focusing on comedy, self-discovery, or other equally viable topics, nevertheless sacrificing the fun of litrpg in the process.
This book manages to go for all and still feel awesome. The most satisfaction I ever had from a description of a skill, hands down. There's just something magical about how the author writes magic. Not only in the epic way, with colossal magics thrown around, but in the small things. How am I so excited about MC getting the ability to
deal 10% more damage with a two handed weapon
    ?!
So far, Azarinth healer ( author's other story that has a similar system, but not a one-to-one copy, if you like either of the books, you'll enjoy the other one) and Infrasound Berserker belong to the rare few stories that I can read and expect a thought-out build creation, satisf

This is looking to be awesome !
So this is the start of an magic apocalypse type LitRPG, and it looks to be taking place in the same universe as The Azarinth Healer I think ? ( Hence the comparison ) but regardless, I am lovin' it.
It's just gritty and harsh yet with likable and funny characters that I just fell in love basically on the first chapter,
Seriously, if you're here to figure out whether you should give it a try ? just fkin go mate, go for it !

The characters are great. I like the authors writing style, and the concept here of a more low magic type environment and combat.
His last story was a more high magic, anything is possible type deal but im hoping that the growth is different im this one. After a while the main characters and villains turn into cartoon characters where it can be interesting but mostly none of the hits anyone lands matter anymore.
in the current story i realy am getting pulled in by the action, so please keep writing for a while longer!

It's only been a single chapter but it seems promising enough. Not much here right now so I can't really judge much about it.
Hope you're able to work on passion projects whenever you need a break and I'm guessing this is one.
Everyone needs a break from writing and the best way to do that is to write something else!

My previous review might have been guided by fresh emotions, so let me go at it one more time.
This work is very engaging, well written, with good characters and settings. You like the MC, understand her, go through the story with her. It was an incredibly enjoyable read, until it wasn’t.
To preface, I understand many people dislike "plot armor", I don’t.
Deep into this story I felt a little bit like the author was starting to use plot daggers, killing where perhaps another option could have been more fulfilling or interesting.
The last chapter I read, there was a death that felt very senseless. I think, if you’ll excuse me, that killing characters off for the main reason of making the MC more vengeful and driven is overused. Especially soft characters.
I understand that this is just this type of direction that some books go, and I know it has many enjoyers and I’m not disregarding the simple fact that this is a well written book (well, I guess up to the point that I read it, can’t say for the rest).
What I am saying is, a person who doesn’t enjoy character deaths that make less sense than other possibilities might perhaps not be the biggest fan of this development.

This author manages to make litrpg boring. Yes, you heard that right. The one version of fantasy that sacrifices everything else for raw excitement cannot manage to be interesting and fun.
First of all, the MC is like a wet mop. Just annoying and boring. There is no spark, nothing there. No clear reason I can give you either. Just the way it is written. Technically the author writes well. It's the subject matter that is the issue.
The supporting cast hovers around the MC, but is somehow even lamer. All the males are basically losers, or mental children. The one guy with some experience has PTSD or something. Again, no redeeming qualities. I find myself not caring about any of them.
People talk to each other and share feelings. It's litrpg, please don't write slice of life. I mean, there are no real rules, but at least don't make it boring.
The dialogue is also pointless most of the time. Characters talk about nonsense, stuff that has no bearing on the story. I found myself just scrolling endlessly waiting for the action to pick up.
There is another story by the same author that is a bit better, but imo has similar issues. The main problem is that the author doesn't understand tension, excitement, or joy. I can't say why, but both stories become a slog. I am usually tolerant and read both high and low brow action, but somehow I can't drag myself through these.
