In an enigmatic world filled with mysterious powers and treasures, a place where the strong dominates and the weak perish, a young boy has the ability to change the fate set by the gods. This is the legend of Ryu, a young boy who inherited the legacy of the Ancients and became a renowned hero. With respect, envy and fear people and deities alike address him as the The Anomaly, Supreme Martial Lord, Peerless Sword God, and Invincible under the Heavens. However, he first must go through a painful journey to discover his true path.

I started writing this story in 2012 and took a long hiatus due to personal problems. After nearly a decade, I hope to continue this story and release one chapter a week. I will also be retconning/polishing existing chapters if time permits. Life is too short for regrets. Thank you for all the encouraging messages I got over the years.

i really didn’t have any expectations when i started reading it… i mean those days xanxia and wuxia is really popular with all the chineze novels that are curently translated,even here at rrl there have been a few novels with qi martial arts at the base,some good and some not so good…but this is really good writed…really you see some good storys that you say the””that guy is a begginer at writing but has talent” or something like that but you know how to write like a pro(if you already have another books writen i apologise) the thing i don't like its the mc personality but i guess that the taste is different for every person, the thing that makes me not to bother with his personality is his speciality of absolute contract...really nice idee i have to say

When you have read and liked the number one xianxia novel Coiling dragon(for me) then you must definitely read this. The author is really good in what he is doing you can see it on how many different kind of skills are being said just in the few chapters. If the author keep this up in the end then I could say that this story could really rival coiling dragon or maybe surpass it!!

Still a pretty hot genre currently on the interweb. The author throws in an good balanced mixture of xianxia (or wuxia) from eastern cultures with better expressions of them in english.
Obviously, he/she has a good grasp of eastern cultures.

So I have read the story up until chapter 26. I have enjoyed the plot and the authors writing style.
The story in set in a world with multiple power types, but the plot so far is set on a continent with a xianxia type power set-up. Some of the things the author does with the main characters abilities are interesting, the battles so far have been vivid and fun to imagine. The author has created the groundwork for a story that has lots of potential to grow.
I am not the best to judge but spelling and grammar wise the story is well put together and easily readable. There are some large info dumps earlier on but they whittle down after the author gets the main power set-up explained.
Now, keep in mind that the following is only a personal pet peeve and preference of mine.
I freakin hate the main characters naive, white freakin knight, outlook on battle (and life by extension). I don’t mind good guys, I don’t mind main characters with good intentions. But the limitations he puts on himself would not work at all in this setting if the author didn\’t perfectly craft his special abilities to negate his god damn idiocy. (if you take that away I’d love the MC. He is young but isn’t stupid, which is part of the reason this pisses me off haha)
Anyone interested in this story go ahead, I recommend it. Hell, despite disliking the main characters attitude immensely I’m not even considering not reading more!

first i thought it would be japanese spamm because of the name ryu but phew its not yay!
