Inexorable Chaos (COMPLETE)

Description

Gods are, generally speaking, not fans of directly putting their fingers on the scale. This is for a variety of reasons, ranging from cautioun to amusement, but is generally because after a few hundred millennia and enough prayers to fill a hollow Earth, you're bound to learn the art of delegation.  Luckily, among the unwashed masses, there exist the exceptional, the gifted, those with the potential to become Heroes.

Useful pawns.

Thus, the Gods adopted a more laissez-faire policy.

Quasi Eludo has been a Hero. He did the whole "save the world” rigmarole, came home, and mulled over his magical journey. It was amazing! A whole lifetime as the destined savior, with magic and monsters, love and adventure, lifelong friendships and heartfelt goodbyes. There was so much, and yet, gone so soon.

It wasn’t enough. It was never enough. He wanted to do it again.  And where wants coincide, there's a market, so he sold his services to the lazy, wanton Gods.

Quasi Eludo, Hero for Hire.[No world too big, no quest too small]

Now, after countless subjective centuries of Hero-ing, and several awkward conversations with the IRS, an odd God has come to Quasi with a unique request: Destroy a world, minimum payment of several million dollars on completion.

Quasi sees no reason not to accept.

*$50,000 USD minimum charge plus expenses for all fetch quests. Extermination requests subject to environmental review.

Parental Warning:Contains descriptions of nudity and lizard sex. No eldritch abominations were molested in the writing of this novel. All characters are fictional. Any resemblance to actual Gods, Deities, or Discord server members is purely coincidental regardless of how accurately they are described.

The best thing about this novel is its Fun. While there are some Dark elements in this story the Author makes a great choice and doesn't bask in them. Bad things happen but they thankfully dont last.
The second best thing about this novel is the Main Character. Quasi is a great example of OP done right, he doesn't always take the spot light, he has genuine relationships with his companions. And well he is gonna win, mabey in an unorthodox way, who am I kidding its always an unorthodox way but it's part of the fun.

As the title implies this story this story is absolutely nothing but pure unadulterated chaos of the best kind. When you think the story will zig it's going to zag when you think it's going to flip it's going to flop and when you think it's going to go up it goes down it goes left it turns right it does everything that you think it won't and when you think you finally start to figure it out it changes it then as well.

This story has been one of utmost favorites to read, it may not be everyone's cup of coffee(hail the glorious bean) with a lot of the what some may describe as unsavory elements of the story, but although in other stories I may have found it overdone, the way they used it I find an absolute delight. At the time of writing this review it one of the most enjoyable I've ever read with only the Percy Jackson series, the Belgariad series, and the Dead Tired series sharing the same position.

Character: First the worst part of this story is the side characters.  By that I mean the characters who don't have their own point of view.  There is very little characterization of the side characters and most of them are one dimensional with a few exceptions in the beginning of the story, and a few characters in recent chapters that seem to be getting more characterization.  Perhaps the worst offender is Jessica who was one of the most annoying characters for me.  She was originally one dimensional, however as her personality changed she was just annoying and overbearing with few redeeming qualities.  However recent chapters seem to be fixing and evolving Jessica's character into someone truly interesting.  I pray the awful mule gag has finally bit the dust as it stopped being funny 50 chapters ago.  By contrast the characters with point of views are very compelling and each interesting, something I find surprising in stories with multiple Points of view.  Even the one dimensional side characters are interesting albeit lacking depth.
Grammer:  I found a few issues but not enough to distract me from the story.
Style Score: I laugh my butt off with this story's humor which is uncommon for me so two thumbs up for the author's flair.
Story: The world building is phenomenal.  Multiple diverse cultures and nations are fleshed out with different beliefs, motives, and ideology.  The way each character's story is weaved together is also interesting and I look forward to where the author takes the story in the future.  I was concerned early that Quasi felt underpowered compared to the introduction we were given for him but the end of the prologue certainly changed my opinion and the main story has done a good job of keeping that theme.
By far and away the middle 100 or so chapters are the least interesting but as you reach the end of the prologue the payoff is worth it.
While I have listed some negatives, they are meant to be constr

He is also not perfect he is a cocky lil shit but he has every right to be he's good at what he does and takes pride in it and his results speak for themselves he is an "imma stomp a mud hole in your ass the most efficiet way possible" kinda mc and  I love that and the best part is you get to see this fucker from other's points of view amazing masterstroke good sir!

There are few stories I’ve read here on RR which I find genuinely funny to the point I can’t read them on the bus.  The pacing of the final showdown aside, this was a solidly gripping and entertaining read for when I needed a laugh.  This is not a story you take seriously, and the plot feels more like a vehicle for the jokes and comedy, but in that vein it excels and delivers.  That said this will not be for everyone’s tastes, and if you aren’t enjoying it by the second chapter, you won’t enjoy beyond that.

Inexorable Chaos is takes a very unique twist on the classic Isekai genera. I have not seen anything like it.
The grammar is good with no noticeable errors.
The characters feel real and dialogue has been done well.
The comedy adds a nice element to the novel, and the occasional change in pov does not subtract from the story, but adds unique elements.

So far, I love the story. A hero, becoming a Necromancer. So far he doesn't use his necromancy powers as they're intended by most Necromancers though. Yeah, he raises the dead, uses them to fight, but hardly. The main thing necromancer is used for is creating armies out of a battlefield. There were a few times when I thought he could've just made a swarm. Though I'm not sure how much his mana is stopping him from doing so. Which is why I think Necromancy and RPG/LitRpg don't go so well together. However this story melds well. I'll update my review as I go along into the book!
The only bad thing I saw so far in 32 chapters was the opening few chapters. It made me want to stop reading, as I was being thrown around in different times without any noticifactions of such, It was a bit hard to understand at first.

Review made with chapter 19 being the latest.
A narcissistic hero for hire signs a contract with an insane god to destroy a world.
The thing this story does really well is making me like the main character. Other stories that have "old" characters portray them as being aloof or distant, having an air around them that screams "I HAVE SEEN IT ALL BEFORE". This mc does not. He just has the right amount of arrogance for his mental age.
The pacing is pretty good, the side characters get decent development and the grammar is on point (after commenters point out the mistakes and the writer fixes them).
The only thing i find lacking is the worldbuilding, but the story hasn't developed enough yet for it to be relevant.
All in all a great fantasy.

Style Score:Honestly, if the story wasn't in second person, I would have loved it. However, the writing style just didn't click with me due to there being very little flow in second person stories.
Story Score: the story is pretty good as far as it goes, even pacing the sex to a semi-believable state.
    Spoiler: Spoiler
If it wasn't for the friend being a total hero/save-all type of guy, the plot would have been pretty solid with the main characters goal in mind and attainable.
Grammar Score: I hold four and a half stars as a pretty solid score. Other than there being a few typos or grammatical errors spread out through out the story, it's nothing a proof read couldn't fix.
Character Score: The best thing about the characters is them all being unique. However, that doesn't make them not shallow. Hardly any of them have any aspirations other than help/destroy one of the MC's. It doesn't give them a deep sense of individuality and makes them seem more like a plot filler to the story.
Over all it's a fun story to read and offers something new to the GAMELIT genre. The characters are engaging enough to keep the reader active. My only real turn off was the writing style. I recommend reading but to take it for what it is.
