During the journey Cyrus is forced to undergo his Starbirth trial. A trial once passed, allows the person to connect with a given constellation. When Cyrus astral projects into the astral realm, he does not connect with his clan's constellation. He connects with a mysterious constellation with unknown power. Now blessed with unique power, Cyrus decides he wants to fight back and get revenge on the person who killed his mother and the rest of his clan. But after a reckless first encounter he quickly realizes he does not have the power to exact his revenge. So to get stronger Cyrus decides to become a Rift Runner. A profession where starbound are enlisted to protect the world from threats that come from outside the world of Valonara.     Its a bit a slower read at the beginning with the author developing their style and all. That quickly starts to pick up pace quickly but in story and quality. But it has a solid foundation with what feels like was a well thought out story with interesting characters to boot.

    Characters are great and likeable, story is in my opinion pretty good and it is interesting to read. The power system is unique and I really like it, I hope to see more in the future ofcourse.I like that there are a lot of POV's and this makes every character interesting.I hope that in the future there are ofcourse more characters introduced and maybe some romance mixed in, but I already heard some things from your Tiktok so I am not worried about that.I heard that Volume 2 is going to be an academy arc so I am looking forward to Cyrus interacting with people his own age and how he developes his powers further.Overall I really enjoyed your novel so far and I don't really have any strong negative points to point out.

    This Novel has so much potential to go places!! (It says reviewed at chapter 1 cause I read it over on web novel I’m currently on chapter 45)The Writing style alone especially for an author who I believe this is their first work is astronomical (no pun intended) the way he beautifully paints the scenes and fights (especially the fights my lord) in your head is breath taking, makes you feel like you there in the moment with the characters. I think I remember seeing somewhere that he has a history in martial arts which makes sense the way the fights are constructed, it feels actually real and immersive.The characters are constructed in a way that conveys their deep history and lore and how it impacts every decision they make, resulting in them being unique and not some generic piece of uselessness that’s just there for the sake of being there. I can feel a real sense of causation throughout their actions and words not just doing stuff because that’s what the author wants but instead pushing the story along adding depth to the Narrative .The magic system is unique and verry interesting, the whole astral element pulls me in as especially since in web novels a lot of them use the generic “mana” magic system with elemental powers and what not but Inertia goes above and beyond reaching for the stars (pun intended) creating something that I’m actually so interested to delve deeper into and know the inner workings.overall, the only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because it is still early days and at points the writing does falter a tad but that’s understandable especially for a new series from a new (I think) Author but overall it is fricking amazing. I’m excited to see where this goes hopefully he keeps at it cause I can see this being your next generation of the big manwha like TBATE, Shadow Slave and LOTM where/is.short version: Read the fucking bookKeep it up Ken

    It's so interesting the power system seems so well thought out and kinda gives me shadow slave vibes which is always welcome.I like the characters very unique and expressiveThe dialogues do seem a bit monotonous and not very natural. It would be nice if there were more body language or expressions described during the dialogues and if they were a bit more casual.All in all, a really great novel and has a lot of potential.

    Honestly, the world and the power system are a breath of fresh air BUT the mc man 🤦🏿.tI’s like the author forgot he’s writing a 13 year constantly trying to make him seem cool instead making it come off as cringe and forced.Also within 50 sum chapters (forgot which specifically) he’s already defeated someone a rank above him when YOU the author on TikTok said there is a 10x increase in each rank 🤦🏿.Shouldn’t ruin in verse scaling and power ranking just to give Cyrus some “aura”Aside from that I enjoy the other characters and the story does have promise!! Hoping to see improvements!
