Caith and Yin serve the Alliseum sorcerers as a Traveller-Linker twin pair. Caith gets to see the world, while Yi remains behind, a conduit for Caith's reports to ther masters, with what looks like very little freedom. But long ago Yin made a choice Caith never knew about, and sixteen years later the consequences catch up to them both.
