Elliot Chapman is a scribe with humble earnings and a humble life. While no stranger to clients of the demonic variety making use of his services, he never expected to be informed that he is the closest living relative to the dead King Dracula- and now he’s left with the unenviable task of representing the human race in a feud between a republic of black magic and necromancy charged by reality-bending alien artefacts, and a dangerous group of galactic criminals who want their technology back.
