- weebforboodiesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I’ve really been enjoying this story so far. The characters are great, and I love how the story is revealing things bit by bit, making it feel like there’s always something new to uncover. The slow buildup of tension and mystery is done really well, and it keeps me hooked with every chapter.
Cyran, the main character, is one of the reasons I like it so much. He’s strong, but he’s not some genius who’s outsmarting everyone at every turn. Instead, he’s more ignorant and doesn’t have all the answers right away, which makes him interesting to watch as he tries to piece things together. Most characters in these stories are reborn with all the answers, so it’s nice to see one who isn’t. He’s definitely an anti-hero and can be kind of an ass, but that just makes him more interesting. He’s not perfect, and watching him figure things out in his own way—without being some flawless, all-knowing protagonist—is a refreshing change.
Overall, I’m hooked and excited to see where the story goes. The pacing and character development are keeping me invested, and while the grammer in places could use work, it's well written and I am invested to see where the story goes
