when the zombies came surprisingly little changed, the zombies came and were quickly destroyed by the worlds various governments. but what if I were to tell you the zombies were a test by the gods? to see if humans were worthy of joining the new world.

well that's the truth, but I'm not much of a people person, well not a human people person, maybe I'll have better luck with none humans, but until then, let's go it alone!

The first chapter was very rough, and to be blunt the author's grammar and style need some improvement. However, I have seen improvement as the chapters flow, and I am interested to see how the author develops.
As my own two cents, I wouldn't mind reading a bit more about the characters motivations, and backstory. Currently he is a relatively blank slate, I know he's a bit of a loaner and didn't care much about his family based off your intro, but not much more. It makes his personality a bit flat.
Good luck, and I hope you enjoy writing.
You might want to at some point consider another pass through on your first couple chapters. After you've written a bit you might find some more you want to add and edit to them.
