Description

STAFF NOTE: The author had proven ownership. RighteousEgg is the original author. I have added a pinned comment to the first chapter to show this staff note is legitimate.A lost soul from Earth crossed over to a cultivation world, and his new identity was a member of a small Qi Refining family. The original owner not only had poor cultivation talent but was also a simp, giving all his resources to a female cultivator. Fortunately, he now has a system that, as long as he gives gifts to the female cultivator, will return tenfold, a hundredfold, or even thousands of times the value to him. Alright, Ye Chen would never admit he was a simp; he was just making an investment!

It's a good story. I was worried his advantage was too much but I'm quite a ways into the story and he's not God yet and it's been entertaining and satisfying the whole way. Highly recommended. Apparently I am required to have a longer opinion. What is the point of that?

This story is 🔥🔥 But reading the reviews you would think people want him to actually be a simp smdh I like how calculating he is to achieve his goal. The best part is he isn't a goody two shoes type and doesn't be nice to those who have betrayed or looked down on him litrpg is riddled with those books that not how real people act.
I also see some people saying is like "Immortality starts with Generousity" and that's false.
    Differences
1: this guy isn't a simp, while in Generousity he is
2: this guy is calculating, while in Generousity the guy seems to always have some emotional issues which is weird because he is supposed to be a man
    3. System wise this books explains alot and there are different aspects to get it to work, while in Generousity its just there tbh
I am currently on chapter seventy five, good thing with this story is he actually fights. I have seen with similar stories where they have so much into the story that the MC never fights like whats the point of cultivation if you can't punch people in the face now and then😂
    We all hate Simps

Haven't been this entertained by a webnovel outside of the big three. I only hope that there will maybe be some more established side characters in the future. Right now it is pretty much just the mc. Caught up to 160 chapters in less than 24 hours. Was constantly dreading having no more chapters.

One of my favorite cultivation stories! I'm glad to find it on this site! The poor MC has to bear the cross of being called a simp (even though he isn't!) to become strong.  Some parts are difficult to read because of the cringeworthy things the MC has to do, but you get used to it over time.

This is a complicated story, not one that looks like it belongs on the royalroad, more the kind you would expect in webnovel, the quality of the writing is ok, clearly oriental but still acceptable enough to not be painful to read despite many, many problems.
The protagonist has a Simp system that rewards him for giving gifts to women, the system is a bit difficult to visualize, it's messages are in the same templates as the character's dialogues, so the separation is unclear.
Although the system is Simp, the protagonist is not Simp, he's probably the opposite of Simp, he just sees women as a way to multiply gifts he give them, aways trying to get women that give him even more return, he's shameless and fun.
Anyway, now you're asking: "Yeah, it's got a lot of problems, why five stars?"
Because it's good, it's fun, that's all, I almost gave up reading it in the first chapter, but the more I read, the better it got, that's all.

The techniques are cool, the mc is pretty badass, the worldbuilding is surprisingly robust, the characters aren't all annoying edgelords, rhe face slapping is satisfying, and I genuinely can't wait to see what new body the mc will get after gifting his origin. All in all the author clearly knows that they are doing and that is a great thing.

This story shares the same system as "Immortality begins with Generosity", but that's about where the similiarties ends.
The MC in this helps out purely for his own gain (Hence the the 'Investment' part of the title).
The characters in this are intentionally shallow, and let's be honest, it's realistic. The story literally starts with him taking place of someone who freely gave shit away to someone who was just using him, selfish people are shallow in general. Someone said the MC has a troubling view of woman, but how do you want him to respond?
He gives out gifts with a happy facade knowing that if he ever stops or can't provide he'd immediately get dropped.
    SPOILER ALERT:
One of the people he invests in literally left him for dead, then when he survived and had something she needed she pretended like nothing happened.
What is he supposed to see these people as other than a tool? They want gifts, he gives them want they want and receives a profit. On multiple occasions when they thought he had nothing left to give they were quick to turn cold.
It's all transactional, hence the "I am not a simp" theme throughout. He says woman are trying to manipulate him because they quite literally are, you can't be mad when the only reason he allows them to continue is because he profits from it.
It's wholly expected that he would turn around and cut them off for someone who yields higher returns, they'd do the exact same thing if they could get the chance. 2/3 of them have already done that until they realized they could still profit a bunch off him, and the only reason he opened arms is because he can too.
From outside eyes he'd be the victim (although we'd call him a simp and bash him for it), from his mind he's just taking advantage of the fact that people are using him.
Only one character, although initially in it for herself, shows any amount of real care for the MC and I suspect (and hope) that is an example of character development in this story.
The main premise so far i

It’s a hard life being a simp with a system! Well, maybe not.i like that the MC is pretending to be a simp, i like the system, and i like that it looks like we’re going to have plenty of face slapping opportunities.keep up the good work author!

Thr God of Pace strikes again with another amazing series to add to his collection.
I normally avoid the harem genre as they rarely portray women as equals. I have only read this one because I adore the author. However despite not enjoying the genre, I still love this book!

Usually reading one chinese cultivation novel feels like you've read them all, with very few exceptions. This is one of those exceptions, the simp system really adds a lot more fun to this. Just give it a read, Im eagerly awaiting more chapters after binging. Damn I have a lot of tasks I skipped to read this to do now. Also yeah you really wont ever know what crazy thing will happen next.
