Illusionary Mischief

Years ago magicians from around the world to protect humanity from all those creatures that go bump in the night (or sparkle in daylight, or just darn look weird) and created the Velum. A barrier which exiled magic creatures and is maintained by the magic of an ignorant populace. Only a small group remains to watch-over the barrier and magic everywhere.
