I've read both books this author just released back to back. Both were pretty great for one-shots! Can't wait to see if they expand on this mini universe or create an actual series, love the trans inclusion too, not enough out there on royal road so its usually hard to get feel included from time to time.

The title is the premise in a nutshell. The writing is simple and clear, though some lingering bits of tension in the piece from the arrival of our demoness. One thing that bugged me in this piece was just how Aurelia is not really fazed by anything and that goes to some sneaking suspicion of something being amiss. The relationship just escalates to the bedroom so quick that it just feels awkward, considering the obvious concern that Aurelia should be having. Even the dialogue itself hints to enough flags and yet none of this is entertained. It was good overall.
