I will strive beyond this cursed bloodline!

Description
Even under the greatest darkness, hope will shine through the shadows.
My series "I Will Strive Beyond This Cursed Bloodline" is an eldritch combination of horror and comedy, and my first attempt at writing a fluffy, happy-to-go series. You know about them, cute girls doing cute things. We have jokes about most isekai tropes weaved in the world. Heroes summoned to save a world, a boy with the skills to build a harem, a pink-haired healer girl that gushes over who she loves. And in the middle of it a lone blonde girl who swears she wants to live a life of peacefull sleep and lazyness. All of it packed up in a world where Magical Girls and Heroes roam the streets and the skies.
But not everything is what it seems like. The seemingly bird-brained protagonist is living under a shadow. The isekai protagonist doesn't form his harem thanks to good looks and blessings from the heavens. The pink-haired healer is not an innocent girl who only wants to make the world a better place. The society of heroes and magical girls is built up thanks to the iron fist of those at the top.
And at the bottom of the world...a darkness is spreading corrupting what it touches.
Trigger Warnings:The main antagonist of [Book] 1 (Vol 1 - Wish, Vol 2 - Tainted, Vol 3 - Legacy) uses mind control. You WILL see it affecting people here, the MC WILL fight it off by the end of Book 1, but it will suck.
There will be consequences after this, of course.
These will be discussed in [Book 2] (Vol 4—Advent, Vol 5—Heroes, Vol 6—Confrontation). Our MC will deal with these consequences and start fixing her life. She will not have an easy time.
As for [Book 3], as of writing this, we are getting into it.
The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
All chapters will be posted at 13:15 Central Time Zone.

- wearing blackRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I just don't understand how this works, it shouldn't but it does.
All the characters should be locked up in arkham Asylum every single one, but I still like (almost) all of those psychos.
The plot is not a plot, in fact the author doesn't write this story, I am convinced that his characters stole the pen and ran with it, and it just somehow works.
How just how is this possible, non of this should work but it just does in the most unhinged and chaotic way possible.
At this point I am convinced that Katsu is some extradimensional horror who is pulling a prank on us for shits and giggles, I just can't explain this story to anyone.
But I still like it, scrap that I love it, and I can't avert my eyes not in the way like one is entranced by a crash or a tragedy, but more like a mad cultist who saw something beyond what was meant to be witnessed.
I stare into the abyss and it demands mangos. - CryostormRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I have highly enjoyed this story so far, especially the heartwarming, and oh so twisted, relationship between our MC and the Pink Haired Menace. If you like cute yuri relationships and litrpg fantasy/action this is a great story to read, especially if you enjoy characters of dubious morality.
For those just starting or still reading before chapter 107, if you liked it before that arc then stick with it. It's important to the story and does get resolved, along with a lot of Elizabeth's other major issues, and gets so, so much better for her and her companions. - DragonightmareRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0we have not got to far into the story so i will talk more on world building and power system intertwined with it. for those of you looking for a super powered world with rules for how things work you will enjoy this as so far the powers have actual rules and restrictions so you dont have to worry about the problems other super hero storys have where any power no matter how op and undefinded can and will pop up. for those intrested in the feel of the story it generally has a upbeat feel to it like something with magical girls should normally have with rare exceptions(looking at you magical girl .apocalypce) that is not so say there are not dark elements cause there are a few but nothing to far that will really bring you down so far. also the writing style gives me strong japenese shojo light novel feels. as for charactars so far intresting but have not seen enough of everyone to say if they are great or not but i personally like mc and her friend rossie. also if you like storys that will make fun of tropes then you will also like this as the mc mom is trope savy and taught her everything she knows. tropes are a known thing in this world by people in power so you get to see some fun stuff on how others treat people tied to those tropes which is fun. btw if it was not clear based on stuff i wrote before dont go into this if you are the type to want a super seriouse story. there will probably be seriouse elements later on based on some stuff that has been set up though. all in all i am enjoying myself
- KuroKuramaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So, for me this story is great!
The characters are well written, and plot interesting enough that I skipped one night only to see how arc ended; so I wholeheartly recomend reading this!
The grammar is good, but regularly there are places where author used word "in" but should use word "on", or vice versa, but it isn't something big that would destroy joy from reading it
Vol 4 chapter 6. - ZIGGININJARoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overall:
Overall this is a fun light hearted superhero school story with a generally self-aware protagonist at least in regards to a number of stories tropes, well... intel it isn't and you follow Alice i mean Elizebeth down the rabbit hole of mind control, mystery’s and mayhem also discrimination best not to forget that. - damienrjamesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I didn’t know what to expect but I’m glad I went into it with a blank slate! The comedy in this piece was lighthearted and refreshing, and the FMC delightful to follow. Elizabeth is a young blooming girl with two special parents. The mother is a magical-girl who had been iksekai’d before to another planet for years and the dad is super powered. All three of them are zany and fun to read, well, the entire roaster is really. If you’re up for a light read, this one delivers while still having some solid backbones and plot progression.
Elizabeth’s adventures aren’t flat and keeps you flipping the page. The FMC inherits powers and must now find her own path. As far as style, the author keeps it interesting by tossing different flavors into the mix while still keeping a very chill tone overall. This makes it easy to read, a less complex litrpg to take your mind off of complicated litrpg stats.
As far as story, I’m so far only a few chapters in so I can’t give a full scope of it, although so far I am impressed and intrigued. I’m always a sucker for those special school setting novels.
The grammar wasn’t perfect in the beginning mostly but it was not the worst out there. I noticed improvement in the later chapters, so that’s what counts.
The characters were honestly the best part. They were easily likeable characters with their unique voices. Some were charming, some were funny, but they all played a part in the story and weren’t just tossed there to take up space. To MR. Random I say keep on writing! This was a thrill to read. - Anubis' JackelRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I started this book mainly because of the title. Then I read the first couple chapters and I was hooked. There are a bunch of tropes put in this book but the author made it fun and funny. The story is awesome and most spelling errors I could just overlook and the author is good about fixing them when they’re brought up in comments. This book also has a really cool take on shadow magic which is my second favorite type of magic. I’m always awaiting the next chapter. So yeah, started because of the title, stayed because of the cool story.
- SonooRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5(translated by Google)
A wonderful story with a richly constructed and very well done world.
The story starts off light and fun and tries to maintain its essence while deeper and darker themes are discussed, leaving a lot of impact on the reader (at least on me).
But I'm sorry, the main character has her excuses for not fighting back anything she can, but this is too much. Would it be so bad to use parental influence to eliminate some people? Or just that they suffer as few consequences as possible for messing with the daughters of the two most powerful people on the planet.
I don't know who disappoints me more, Elizabeth or her parents. I hope it improves in the future.
(That's just the rant, don't mind, because I already said it? The story and how it follows is incredible)... Wonderful. - AodhfynRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This is a great story, if you aren't one of those people who absolutely need great grammar.
It successfully shoves superheroes, magical girls, and isekai in a blender and flips the speed every which way in a chaotic mess that feels both entirely organic and hopelessly arbitrary.
The style is strange. It feels like reading a light novel with proper quotations (mostly) and an actual superhero vibe. The grammar is not there - but I wouldn't accuse the author of being a bad writer. Just not great at English.
This story falls squarely in GameLit (or litRPG,) utilizing stats, blue windows, and skills. But it also twists those elements to its own ends. Ends that I'm still... not sure of. The mechanics are balanced somewhere between reliable and nonsensical, such that you simultaneously feel you understand a character sheet you're reading, and also wondering what to do with all those zeroes. Don't worry, you'll know what I'm saying when you get there.
I have no idea what the author intends for the plot, because, as far as I can tell, the characters have all taken the author hostage and are successfully bullying them into writing pov chapters and special arcs.
Thankfully, the characters are great, so the author's inability to force them into a plot works out just fine from a reader's perspective. Not sure the author's okay though. - ParlaRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Absolutely fell in love with the comedy that perfectly captures the supreme "don't give a fuk" of being a teenager-uni student. OP parents that act like nothing can stop them (cause it can't, am i right?). School that has magic and super awakening stuff, need I say more? A few grammar mistakes (His/Her do be the bane of our existence.) but nothing that distracts from how awesome this whole thing is. Did I mention there is a stuffed bear that (sometimes.) stops our MC from landing to the floor harder than puberty? She has to wake up somehow, right?
