Description

Swept away by Truck-kun before she could snatch a limited edition of her favourite novel, Naomi Akiho wakes up in the world of that very story. Armed with an extensive knowledge of its characters, major political players, and —most importantly— the address of her no-longer-fictional crush Lady June, Naomi gets herself hired as June's maid.

Her goal: to save Lady June from her terrible chandelier-related fate, and protect the delicate and emotionally wounded woman from any further hardships.

Neither of those adjectives apply to Lady June, of course, but Naomi is too blinded by her book knowledge, and her Lady's looks to see that.

Because, how much can one truly know about a person from a few paragraphs in a novel? Paragraphs that are few and far between, and that are up for subjective interpretation.

    The pacing of the story is fast, but not to an obnoxious degree. It's quite easy and relaxing to read, actually.
    The grammar is fine and so is the plot.
    The characters are the cherry on top, they are great and have very defined personalities.
    If you enjoy GL or villainess stuff (the jokes with the cliches on that genre are amazing) it's definitely worth the read.

    Overall: From my very limited experience with GL novels/manga/manhwa, the storyline and characters here are not entirely original but that is not to say they're not done well. On the contrary, I think the story and characters are reasonably well done.
    Though I like the author's style, grammatical errors and typos do exist, though not enough to do too much to derail my enjoyment.
    TLDR: It's pleasantly readable.
