I Was Reborn-ish Into A World Where Everyone Has Useless-Kinda-Skills

Description
2025-04-30. Author note. A couple of days ago I became a father. Hence the updates are slower than usual for a couple of months.
Niles is hilarious lol /Monde- MC get's transported to a new world where all the skills are meh- MC goes from fun to funnier (truly the essence of LitRPG)- I laugh like a maniac when I write this story, it's so bad that my wife forces me to leave the room- I recieved a review (thank you!) which I agree with. At the moment the story is not particular funny. It kinda happend when the MC fell down in a coma in chapter... 72 and have yet to make a comeback... or if he even manages to make a comeback. We're at chapter 94 now. The world keeps spinning and waits for none.
I only post this story on RoyalRoad. Though, I doubt anyone would be eager to steal a fiction that's not even ranked top #27 000 and if you do. What am I supposed to do? I'm not particulary fast to chase anyone down.
Anyway, if you enjoy the webtoon "The Greatest Estate Developer" perhaps you should give this a go. I was inspired by that story and the setting of a refreshing MC who's not afraid to laugh like a devil and grab life by it's horns and giving it a wild jiggle.
Thank you and have a pleasant day!

- YayBaconRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0One of the most anticipated releases in my follow list. Niles is a hilarious jerk but, the story so far is more about the group kingdombuilding and their reactions to him scamming all of them into it. Maybe Winston is the real MC. Read a few chapters, you'll get hooked.
- SteckdoseRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Like the blurb said: This will give you Real Estate Developer Vibes.
I am enjoying my time here. It is actually funny and the skills are more ,convenient everyday life skills‘, which makes them even more absurd.
The characters all feel relatable, or at least I am able to understand who they are and what drives them, I guess Xemera is my fav character so far.
Thanks for the good laughs!
I am not going to check the grammar or polish anything of my raw ESL review. Take it or leave it. - the_random_userRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Got some good laughs from it so far, often quite loudly too.
From what iv read, its a bit more ridiculous than I would like (as in, dealing with implausible situations in implausible fashions), but if that's your up of tea then it's a good read. Even with my bias towards non ridiculousness, I still quite enjoyed what I was reading. - NateOuzRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Well, I think the web novel description needs an update, since at some point it becomes everything but funny. Nevertheless, I've enjoyed binging on it the last couple of days, and I look forward to the next chapters!
And for what it's worth, when the humor is there, it's splendid 🤌🏻 - MrmduboisRoyal Road★★★ 3.0The story has an interesting premise, and the writing is solid on a technical level.
Some gripes: The MC is a manipulative jerk. He's supposedly neutral, but his interactions with other characters are most often explicitly about him taking advantage of others. If we excuse that, and pretend he's just a villain protagonist, then him taking advantage of others can be excused, but again he's supposedly "neutral." Then another issue that crops up is that he's a hypocrite with apparently no overarching ethos...not even the typical selfish one of, "Only looking out for #1." E.g. He makes a big deal about trust being important and consistently proves to be untrustworthy. The biggest problem, with the MC, is probably that because of his lack of consistency his actions create tonal whiplash in the story, and it's difficult to believe when he's supposedly being sincere with someone, because usually he's shown as working an angle to take advantage of them. I get the feeling he's maybe supposed to be a psychopath or a narcissist, in that he usually seems interested in people first for what they can do for him. He may develop an attachment to them after they've been useful, or have the potential to be useful, but he'll still shamelessly exploit these "friends."
That's pretty much it. The story isn't great, but it could be a lot worse too. Pretty much all of the problems in it are because of the main character's...character.
