I was an orc During a Global Pandemic

My story begins after the pandemic, when I was one of the last remaining orcs in existence. We were living in a remote cave deep in the mountains, huddled together like frightened animals. We knew we were in danger, but we didn’t know what to do. We had no weapons, no food, no way to defend ourselves. We had nowhere to run. After a while, some of us wondered if we might be better off dead. Death seemed preferable to living, knowing that we were to die from starvation, dehydration, or exposure to the virus. There was no point in carrying on.

We waited for death to come, but death didn’t arrive. Instead, we were saved by a group of humans.
