I'm giving you five star because i saw you are improving and because if this story get popular it will offset at least one of the "half-and-didn't-rewiew" you will inevitably get.
Story is really interesting, even if we didn't saw much, and i feel a strong potential inside you. One that will break the authoe circle and catapult you into godhood/immortaldom/immortality/SUPERLONGDANGERNOODLE/Transcendence or however you want to call it, so..

It's a good effort, but I would recommend that the author improve his conversational writing skills. He's got a nice idea, but the start was difficult to read.
It was probably based off of xianxia, which is a nice genre, but a lot of their concepts and ideas tend to fail whenever I see a western person writing them. There is just a large difference in cultural values.
A good example of a book which merges the two is Defiance of the Fall.
But for an early start by a seemingly young author, it's a fun story.
