Description

When Alexander Matthias (28 years old) wakes up, the weight of his empty existence crushes him once again. Ever since his mother passed away seven years ago, Alex, once a loving son, has been drifting without purpose. The warmth and stability he once knew vanished with her, leaving him to navigate the wreckage of failed relationships. The first woman he loved betrayed him, and every relationship since has followed the same tragic pattern. Now, he wonders if love, for him, is just an illusion-something he's forever destined to lose.

In another part of the world, Song Mi Na (23 years old), a bright and hopeful university student, is still searching for her soulmate. No matter how many times her heart has been broken or how many rejections she's faced, she refuses to give up. She believes, deeply, that true love is out there waiting for her. But on the night of her birthday, everything changes. As she sleeps, visions flood her mind-memories of lives she never knew she had. Past lives, forgotten loves, and a strange connection to a man she's never met.

Two souls, bound by a history they don't yet remember, are about to collide. But will their meeting bring healing or heartbreak? In a world where the past echoes into the present, can they escape the cycles of pain and loss, or will fate tear them apart once again?

By far, the story’s in its introductory’s stage: presenting us to its protagonists, Alex and Mi Na, and their current goal of finding their true love who happened to be each other since their were lovers in their past lives.
Through the writing, you can tell that Alex is more down-to-earth but also a bit hurt by past experiences with love while Mi Na is more of an emotional type without looking delusional.
In the current chapter I making this review – chapter 2 –, Alex and Mi Na have discovered the existence of past lives but are still miles away from finding each other. It makes you wonder how would they reunite in this present live, don’t you think?
I have a feeling that this story will give its readers a good time and I cheer for it.
    Good luck, TheBBB!

This story hooks me from its first and keeps going on with the force of a locomotive. It is still in early stages of publication but I think this could be a very interesting story. This is absolutely one to read for anyone who enjoys some saving power fantasy in this platform. It is unfolding in a magical way, and I sense exciting things are about to happen. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting tale, as you will definitely not want to miss the announcements of what is next. It could be leading you right to something really good!

I enjoyed this read, the dialogue is engaging and the overall story I'm seeing here is sure to shape up to be a good one. If I had to give some critique, it's definitely more of a personal opinion, but I do feel it is a bit long winded in a first chapter. Which isn't a bad thing always, I do feel editing will help with that, some grammar mistakes, shorter sentences that can deliver the same information in the same amount of time. But as for the contents itself, a good read

    Overall (4.5/5)
This is a strong start with really good characters. There are a few problems that could be fixed in a later review, but overall this is a good story!
    Story (5/5)
The story is engaging and keeps the reader invested, with a blend of historical drama, political intrigue, and some romance. The dream sequences are intriguing and I'm hooked to see where this is going.
My only complaints, is that some transitions between dream sequences and reality could be smoother. For instance, when Hae Joon wakes up from his dream and resumes his daily routine, the shift could be more gradual to maintain tension. Also, you could consider, for future chapters, having Hae Joon grapple more with the dream’s implications in his waking hours.
    Characters (5/5)
I loved the protagonist, Hae Joon is well-developed, with clear motivations and growth throughout the story. His internal struggle and growth make him relatable and engaging.
I've only read three chapters, but I'm hoping to see Marcus Chen be more fleshed out in later chapters. While his manipulative nature is clear, his motivations and background could use further development to make him a more interisting opponent.
    Style (4/5)
The writing style is descriptive and vivid, effectively rendering the protagonist's emotions and the atmosphere of each scene. The author does a good job of balancing historical elements with contemporary life. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the foreign dialogue, although beautiful, stools all the momentum of the scenes.
    Grammar (4/5)
The grammar is generally good. However there are some instances of missing commas, incorrect verb tense, and minor punctuation errors that could be caught and corrected.

Starting off with the characters, they are well developed and show relatable facets such as vulnerabilities, such as with Alex, and his emotional journey through both past and present with the memories of his mother are great points for creating empathy towards him, and the struggles highlight and contrast against the warmth added to his life by his friends and companions around him and their interactions. Story has a blend of many things, most notably drama, with very emotional scenes that is easy to follow and the dialogue flows naturally - which compounds even more so with the emotional warmth given by Alex's friends. However, some supporting characters could benefit massively by having more development put into them - and overall there is strong emotional depth clearly put into the story, but can be improved upon if the mix of both drama and fantasy are mixed clearer together, into a perfectly concocted narrative as some parts can feel a bit disjointed here and there. Another area for improvement can be with the style. Whilst it is good for conversational styles between the characters, sudden shifts in the tone can disrupt the story overall and can have some more polish put into the transitions within the narrative, but overall the style makes this into a great story. With more refinement, I have little doubt that the story and drama can become more impactful, cohesive and a great read, especially with more development that can be placed into the other characters around Alex.

It is a fine read. Alex is relatable with the first few paragraphs and the mother screen left me dumfounded. The characters feel real, and you can easily form a connection with them. It's an emotional rollercoaster that I can't wait to see more from. I will say that the length first start was a bit of a miss, but the overall scenes made it worthwhile.

"Living without love feels like walking through a never-ending fog-meaningless and dark." This is one of the particularly good lines, from the first chapter, that can give you an idea of what to expect from this book.
Follow the protagonist, Alexander Matthias, as he struggles to face of one tragedy after another. Alexander has a habit of laughing, to keep himself from crying, which I find very relatable.
The style of this story is direct, and emotional. If you like a story that delves into the things that can make a person feel very deeply, you might enjoy this story.
The grammar is fine, its not perfect, but its good enough that it wont distract you from the story. If I wasn't doing a review were I needed to pay attention to something like that I wouldn't even notice any issue with it.
The story is gripping right from the begging, Alex, the main character, it relatable and worthy of compassion.
The characters are the strongest part of this story, in fact the story IS the characters. If you like a story were you really get to learn about the people in it, and experience the joys and sorrows of life with them, give this story a try.

It's too early to give a detailed rating with just two chapters, but so far I'm enjoying the story. It holds an interesting premise and the characters are relatable. The work as a whole does need some polish in the grammar and the detail department, but overall it's fine if you're the type that doesn't care much for those details. Once I see improvements, I'll be able to give a more detailed review.

    I thought it was neat!!
I like Min Na so far more than Alexander. I like the banter she has with her friends
I thought the trial parts were interesting!
The story changes verb tenses from past to present sometimes, but I don't know if that was intentional
I thought the decision to mix languages where appropriate was an interesting one, even though the nuance is that is lost on me it still felt like a nice touch
The fantasy aspect is still developing but I think there are some interesting places it can go. The story concerns loss and loneliness and change a lot, I hope it doesn't sacrifice exploring those subjects when it starts to introduce such things, because I like some of the pathos in the first chapter with Alex dealing with multiple emotional problems at once. I think there is something maybe pertinent to the experience of people his age, having lots of emotions from lots of different places. The only part I did not relate to was how extensive and devoted his support system is, but in context I think that certainly helps keep the story's tone from going somewhere it would need to pull back from
The grammar felt like it became more refined as the story went on!

This story is a love story of the two main characters Alex and Mi Na. The two characters have their own tragic back stories, and deal with concepts such as being ignored or feeling alone.
That said, this story shifts to a supernatural element that I do not quite fully understand. There are some scenarios where the pacing goes really fast, and others where pacing is slow. Grammatically, there are quite a few mistakes, but that can be overlooked if you're being generous.
The heart of the story as of now is there, but its missing great details throughout.
Trying to think of a positive, and I have to say that I liked Chapter 2 more. Mi Na's journey was better built than Alex's and it does leave the reader wanting to know how they will meet.
