As usual, this author writes a beautiful queer love story blooming in spite of adversity.
This story is a more gritty tale than the others they’ve published thus far in their world. The tone is somber and fills the reader with slow creeping anticipation of the often times deadly lasting consequences of war.
If you’re looking for a story of a reluctant MC as they learn about themselves, more realistic retelling of war consequences, found family, navigating family and trauma, you’ve found the story you’re looking for!

This is such a good story to read and I find it interesting to read. It has some of the comedic elements in which I really enjoy and will look more into it in the future. Now the only problems I had with it is how the questions are sometimes I appropriately placed, yet overall I would highly recommend anyone to read it.
