I have been blessed by Chaos but all I want to do is chill on a farm

Description
A disembodied soul floated in front of what appeared to be a cloud of darkness, the cloud pulsed growing small then big and it moved all around in swirling patterns never to remain in one place too long.
Well, this soul once was a man, but it died, no, not it – He; Even in death he had a strong sense of self. He looked around there was only emptiness and this nebulous ever-changing blob of darkness.
The soul felt the overwhelming pressure coming out of this cloud. There were only a few things to assume.
“Are you here to take me to the afterlife?” He asked still uncertain in ability of this cloud to speak.
But, oh it spoke, directly into his mind. “Mortal,” the booming voice penetrated his very core, “there is a life after, but not the one you might expect.” The cloud of darkness surrounded him from all sides. “I’ve won your soul and so you will be reincarnated.”
He didn't remember gambling or selling something so important…
The entity continued. “Worry not,Mortal, I’ll put you in one of my worlds. In a place where no one would expect, so you’ll be safe for a while.”
“This world, it’s not Earth?” He asked having a hunch already.
“A world of strife and magic; a harsh place. But be not afraid, I shall bestow upon you a few boons; the standard sort.”
He had a hundred questions he wanted to ask, but he felt his soul body to become overwhelmed by the power the entity was emitting. The swirling cloud of darkness thundered and lit with purple colour, much like a thunderstorm, and then one of the stray bolts of lighting hit him directly; likely on purpose. And then it hit again and again. While it was scary it only tickled his soul a bit. The lightning bolts were harmless but they did a thing, or three…
Three lines of text floated in his vision:
[PerkResurrection [1]obtained.]
[PerkLanguage Comprehensionobtained.]
[PerkChaos Blessedobtained.]
The last one sounded ominous. It made him wonder about what sort of entity this was.
“Off you go, Mortal.”
Everything went black, he didn’t even get to ask the name of the entity or even the place he will be… reincarnated?

NOTE: This is an isekai crafting/farming story with slice-of-life elements + governing your settlement. Or at least it will attempt to be such.
NOTE #2:In later chapters the story takes a darker turn, and our MC becomes moreDarkaligned (Chaotic Evil or smg). There are some morally dubious choices made.

- PauljosephskiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story so far has been really good. The only complaint I would have is that the grammar needs a little bit of work. The MC can be a little naive at times, but he seems to grow and understand his new place in the world as time goes on. Overall I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys slice of life progression fantasy stories.
- capbuzzkillRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a lovely chilled out novel
It's very calming to read and there is enough humour to keep me entertained I'm enjoying see our mc and his kingdom be built bit by bit really looking forward to the coming chapters
Grammar is good and vocabulary is good too so that's always fantastic
I recommend you read 5 chapters and by then you be glued to it as I am - UbermachtRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A very straightforward and enjoyable story, it’s not overly complex and confusing like some stories and is nice and easy on the eyes… easy like how easily you eat a entire family sized bag of chips in one sitting… it’s fun and well written with good grammar and story pacing with a broad mix of story elements like kingdom building and litrpg.
A transmigrator who just wants to farm, accidentally starting a kingdom that then wishes to conquer the world in his name? That’s the MC
Honestly I suck at writing reviews and I don’t know what to write anymore but it’s a good story, give it a read because I’m always hyped when new chapters come out, and best part of all there’s regular updates…
Review 2 >>>
A fun read with a nice blend of adventure, world building, kingdom building, and silly slice of life misunderstandings… dense and somewhat awkward MC who is an unwilling ruler, who through a series of coincidences and misunderstandings is viewed as a villain by some a hero and king by others, and is unwittingly strong…
and personally I adore this book, it’s always entertaining and it’s weird in all the right ways - Shavalod xSynRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0If you are looking for a nice kingdom building story, with parts of cozy slice of life and comedy, look no further. While the premise of having several miracles at your disposal sounds so Op that it is equivalent to cheating, the author manages to reign in world breaking aspects of the miracles and thus makes the base building fun and engaging. The characters are fleshed out and I believe author has more in store for MC's little minions. This story deserves more recognition, so hop in and enjoy the ride!
- Mega sqidRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Good story , a bit funny sometimes , the MC is na enjoyable happy guy. Lovely little village and awesome spiders. Not much people comenting yet , but I am surethat will change soon becouse this fiction deserves it (I shal ready this story to its or my end :) :) :) )
- Atlas he who holds the skyRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This type of story in the tropes involved are not something I typically enjoy. This has been a pleasant surprise and that the writer managed to make it work. There’s quite a bit of worldbuilding and many characters, but it keeps a living world where there’s continued interaction it is quite nice. The kingdom building aspects are fun. The system is minimal but powerful. A lot of fun concepts worth a read. Be prepared for some lewd concepts.
- Yuuka neeRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I liked how some stuff was high lited in colours, neat, and how the farm grew a lot from simple and small to big and shiny, but i dont have a lot to say, this was great, and i await for more but take your time. also the thing about the mountain was to say atleast some clifhangers that were nice, i like to see more about the biology and complex world this history exists
- GodkingzeusRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Starts off decently but I just can't keep reading the mc is not really likable and the progress seems way to slow not a bad story by any means but just not for me gotta get to fifty words cause of the dumb review rules i hope you the best author
- Lumwyd M.ARoyal Road★★★★ 4.0In the title I say the story could “do better” but in most regards it already is. It’s not perfect or a must-read, but overall quality is good and steadily improving.
Style:
I like it. Just wasn’t paying particular attention to it while reading, hence 3-stars; Good but I’m not sure if the other categories are bleeding into this one.
Story:
Not much of a story or overarching narrative, but it’s a slice of life fantasy: Most people aren’t here for that. Including me. It’s great for what it is, and deserves the 4-stars it has.
Grammar:
Started of good but dropped a bit when the author relaxed editing standards to keep up daily uploads. Just a few typos and whatnot here and there, plenty readable but somewhat annoying. Eg “kind” instead of “king”. As I said at the beginning though, the quality has been improving, and I now have to look for errors instead of being assaulted by them. All while keeping the uploads frequent (not daily anymore but close enough). Hence 4-stars, still has some room to improve but really good.
Characters:
Somewhat of a weak point for an otherwise good story, the characters are little more than cardboard cutouts of general archetypes than living breathing characters. Over the course of my reading, the characters have gained depth over time, but that’s more of having new developments affect characters while keeping them consistent. The base of each character is 2d, so even if they get better, it’s basically just thicker cardboard for the cutouts. In fact, it would be more surprising if the characters managed to stay undeveloped throughout the story’s lifetime, therefore, I had to give it 2-stars. Again though it’s a simple slice of life story meant to be an easy read, so it doesn’t really matter, I just don’t feel the type of story excuses the poor characterisation.
Ending Remarks:
If you think you’ll like the story, you probably will. Don’t let my review discourage you, it’s really good with a few flaws. Add the fact I’m purposefully being sligh - Strictly WorseRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5The story has a nice variety of slice of life elements, I'd primarily describe it as a crafting and kingdom building story, though both combat and as you might expect from the title farming, also feature prominently. It has a Litrpg system but while the MC has an interest in farming and crafting and uses the abilities he receives for that end, he's really not trying to game the system the way many protagonists do.
On the topic of the MC, he wants to be friends with almost everyone to the point of it being a character flaw. This lends to the general lighthearted, optimistic and slightly wacky at times feel of the story as many of those he encounters are more selfishly motivated and assume he is evil, leading to hijinks.
Despite not being the main thrust of the story the combat is excellent, even handling large groups of combatants extremely well. The crafting and farming systems strike a nice balance of being pretty light and easy to follow while still feeling like there is a bit more depth underneath it.
In regards to spelling and grammar, the story seems to start with more errors than the average story on this site but the author seems remarkably diligent on updating based on edit suggestions in a way I've seen from no other author on this site so far.
Summary: If you like slice of life this has a nice mix of elements and a system that doesn't involve number crunching if you're looking for something light. It's a little zany which won't be to everyone's taste but helps give a humorous light hearted tone for others.
