Arc 1 (Volume 1-3) - Gather the Party/Wives

Arc 2 (Volume 4-8) - Team-building Exercises

Arc 3 (Volume 9+) - *no spoilers here*

Each Arc serves as a good entry point, as much of the dynamics of the story changed by then. So if starting from volume 1 is jarring or unsatisfying or you want to see, how everything clicks later, volume 4may be a better entry point.

I generally decide whether to read a story or not by reading one or two chapters and stick with it even if it goes bad. This is the only exception, as I completly disgusted with main character after reading the starting chapters. But the story is written well so I decided to continue to read. But as I continue to read more chapters the story forcibly barged into my reading list. I started waiting for its release and today I'm adding it into my favourites.
Kudos to author who built a great story with such a shitty characters and make readers love them. Now that I think back I wouldn't want in other way.

Would prefer it without a harem.
Although that's odd for me to admit because ara is my favorite character

    Hi :3
I usually don't review but it's honestly ridiculous how low the score is for a story of this quality. The character writing is some of the best I've seen on Royal Road, and the writing style makes it really feel like a light novel. The small grammer mistakes, instead of hurting the story add a sort authenticity, or that brings the whole vibe together. The plot the most original but it does something more important. That is, being good. The character progression is really done, they have thought out interesting arcs and no one is overpowered. The tropes are natural, they aren't forced and feel like they belong and also are subverted perfectly when they are. I really like the elves being uncanny. All in all a good read, I highly recommend if you like light novels.
I guess I need more words so here some other thoughts on this story. But spoilers ahead be warned!!
Anyways the relationships are very good especially the main cast. God I love them!
As for stuff I didn't like, some part are a little too drawn out, the fight with the classmates was like an entire volume and had a little payoff. I for sure thought the misunderstanding would be cleared up there. Was kinda a letdown. Other than that I can't remember, I read awhile ago and just haven't been able to stop thinking about it.
Have a nice day whoever reads this ✌️😙

I have not seen a story with the tag Harem so good since Mushoku Tensei, and considering that i feels as if others who have been using Harem so far as a cheap way to attract readers, you have done a good job as I do not feel it here. Have my congratulations and please continue to do what you have done with this story. ^-^

Its honesty nowhere near as bad as people are portraying this story to be, sure the plot and setting isnt as well crafted as i would like but the main draw is mostly the interactions between the main 4 characters.
The authors doing an incredible job at fleshing out their personalities, even the typicaly 2 dimensional ditsy princess has become a really deep characcter. So if youre main interest in these stories is more about character interaction and development then youre in for a treat.

Short review: Good story that keeps on improving but not a typical harem with hanky panky all the time.
    Long review:
This is a story where you can really follow the authors development over the years. The story quality just continues improving, yes there is a few parts that will be a struggle to go through but you will be rewarded with brilliance every now and then.
The publishing speed is a bit slow though in my case I have kind of forgotten the story for a few years and have binge read from somewhere in volume 4 up to current date in the last few weeks.
I like it is a story where the harem is there more for comedy then humping each other every 5th sentence.
The characters feels real with backstories and they manage to develop in individual directions.

First volume is great. Fun, really inmersive and I like your style, rarely the events feel forced, you did a very good work with the flow of the story. The characters are great they do not fundamentally change from the first chapter to the last fo volume one, but you see tolerance growing for each other in them. It was great up to that point because the promise of their relationship for the future felt great, which is the crux of your story.
However, from volume two onwards, I do not see changes in the characters, they become statics and many of the tolerance you built in the first volume is kind of gone. Except the adding of another wife, which I felt it was unnecesary, because the building of Kenta and Kyou was great and I wanted the story to focus on that because it was the promise you made me with your writing.
In any case, the story I think is still good and the characters are interesting. I do hope you can manage the third wife with the same quality and spend the time to actually making them change, because it would the story if they do not change.
    Thanks for the story.

This story is a manual for those males who like being OVERLY PASSIVE, in their relations, everyone who has at least a bit of experience with the opposite gender know that if you let a woman shape a man to her likes, she will eventually grow bored and leave him and find another one to re-shape.
    Style 3.5/5
good style, one of the fortes of this fic indeed but sometimes switching from 3rd PoV to MC PoV can be something tricky.
    Story 1.5/5
Well if you have seen your share of animes you will find that its not the first time where you get an MC forced into a relation with another female, sadly its not the best way to make a relation but if worked with good head on the shoulders it can actually become a pretty good end game story
Sadly so far this review is after ending Vol.1.
    Grammar 4/5
Another forte of this fan fic, you will find little to no grammar mistakes in this story and its actually good if you can bear with the main troupé interactions.
    Character 1/5
In the beggining i was thinking that the Male lead would be great as it was depicted as the "trust issues gamer otaku" but as the story develops you will find him becoming a tamed dog by our mystical and overpowered female lead.
why do i call her OP? well this is your common rpg-stats-world like  setting meaning there is stats in equips and your current classes, and yet our Priest/Cleric Female lead one shots a mob way over her lvl with a knife, that had pretty good stats but...its just not easy to believe.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
all in all its a good time killer story but not of the best due to our mc being lead by the nose by our all powerfull Female Lead pseudo priest/cleric.

The story follows a lot of clichés that are to be expected but it does nothing more it is also simple. It is standard Japanese Isekai that bring nothing new to the genre.
I finished a volume expecting character development between characters that are married but nothing happened. To be clear, I don't mean I expect a perfect marriage but with a story with that premise in the very title you'd expect more than just them learning their names.
Grammar is clearly from some one who doesn't have fluency from English but the story itself is understandable. The way the story is written also leaves much to be desired as text is usually simple. If they talk they talk. If they act they act. If you need to know about the world, setting or situation it is explained by internal monologue. Repeatedly.
The characters appear to be one dimensional and stiff. There seems to be little to any growth. The characters have their strengths and they have their weaknesses but they are not explored and just amplified.
If you are looking for romance look elsewhere. This has very little nuance, intrigue and interaction between the characters and the world they interact with.

Proofread but written by non-native English speaker
At least the author uses proofreaders, kudos to him for doing that, unfortunately they aren't helping him enough with the more subtle things such as the many awkwardly phrased sentences and outright syntax errors, not to mention synonyms that doesn't fit the context.
It reads like a clumsy anime dub with a lot of sentences worded in ways native English speakers simply wouldn't.
That aside, the story simply isn't particularly engaging, there's little to draw the reader in. The characters aren't particularly interesting or fleshed out, and there's a lack immersion because the author doesn't use much descriptive text.
If he wants to work on that he needs make the world come alive through the five senses, describe what the protagonist sees, and not just telling the reader what he sees, flesh out the surrounding and the people and monsters, what are the people wearing and how do they look, go into visceral detail when up against fearsome, and not so fearsome monsters.
Also remember the other senses, sound, smells, touch and taste.
