Verity could not believe his eyes, and was overjoyed when what seemed to be the end of the word befell humanity at last. Others may have despaired or cry in outrage in the emergence of the apocalypse, but why wouldn't Verity be happy? His dream had come true, the end of the world, just like in his favorite stories! Finally, he wouldn't have to dream about it anymore or write questionable fan-fiction on the obscure forums he visited sometimes. He couldbethe Hero!

Too bad it didn't last. Turns out, Verity's plot armor wasn't quite as strong as the protagonists he admired, and his story? Short-lived to say the least.

What to expect from this story:

- 3 chapters of around 2k words per week (sometimes more if I have more time)

- Power progression, LitRPG style story

- Talent vs hard work themes

- LOTS of fights and action filled scenes

- One main character, but the POV may change at times

The beginning is really good, especially when he talks to Vera and we find out how long it took him to understand that he's not the protagonist hahahahah I thought that was really funny, the MC's growth in power is really cool, he's not an unparalleled genius but rather a guy who, with effort, can get close to them (I don't know if he'll surpass them) their skills are very unique, which is really cool. The world building is flowing well, at least in my opinion, the secondary characters are well constructed, you can understand their personalities after a while, which makes them relevant, not just something that is there.

I enjoyed the story and read it in one afternoon because i was hooked. The characters are good, their personalities are easy to recognize and well developed, I rate it 5 stars because as far as I care, i liked reading it and enjoyed it. I hope to see more chapters soon.

The premise and the execution of the story is good. The action packed story leads you through every trope in the genre. The MC is the fabled incompetent and dependable sort with a mystical gravitas of friendship surrounding him. The main plot is driven not by any real depth of character, but happenstance and tsundere characters that constantly take a swing at him when they get the chance.
It is well written and very solid. If you are looking for a regression system dripping with side character energy, then you will get exactly what is on the tin... After the novelty of the story transitions from intriguing premise to all aboard the trope train, I realized I would be getting off at the next stop. It wasn't a long ride, but it was enjoyable for what it was.
Although, it isn't my cup of tea... I would recommend that you give the story a try, it might be just what you are looking for.

Two of the worst cases of Mary Sue and plot armour you ever saw. Only that the plot armour is his cheat, literly and we never se a loop past the beginning few chapters. It is left for us to imagine that a loop happened and went exactly the same up until the point of death where he gets a heads up and the story goes on. Never-ending the plot holes of his cross loop gains not affecting subsequent loops in the slightest. Had high hopes, but not for me.
