'I Became the Strongest in Both Worlds' by JustRandom is a fast-paced action story where the main character's consciousness is transported into an apocalyptic alternate reality every time he goes to sleep. In one world, he is a timid high school student, in the other he is a powerful warrior with access to magic.
That premise is already pretty interesting, but there is more going on behind the scenes.  For one, the main character seems to be bringing things back into the real world -- and not just his memories.  Also, the nature of his experiences is revealed to be more than just mysticism once you get to chapter 7.  There is definitely a lot going on in this story.
Overall it is an interesting concept that is well executed.

I have to say this one grabbed me from the get go.  It started with an Action scene, even though it is one that the MC  Jun-Hyuk would not want to find himself in.  I could relate to the Jun right away because I had found myself being bullied alot when I was a kid.  The author does a great job of helping you to see Jun and his situation very early on.
The transfer to the other world was smooth and made sense, and the Author also does a great job of making you feel like you understand what is going on in the new world without having an in-depth knowledge of it. I am very intrigued as to the mechanics that are making him switch back and forth and where this adventure is going.
One last praise I will give is they the Author’s voice and style are very easy to read.  It flows so well that you can allow yourself to get really into the story without having to try to figure out what is being said.  What the author is saying comes across really easily and succinctly.
A great beginning for this story and I’ll definitely be looking forward to see where this adventure leads too.

Jun-Hyuk’s journey is really engaging, and I love how the story balances his struggles in both worlds. In the real world, he’s dealing with bullies, family pressure, and the weight of feeling powerless. Then, suddenly, he’s in this completely different world where he’s a skilled fighter with a whole new identity. The way he reacts to all of it feels so natural—he’s confused, frustrated, but also curious. His awkwardness, especially around Ji-Min, makes him super relatable, and seeing him slowly gain confidence is really satisfying.
The action scenes are definitely a highlight. The way he instinctively fights back in Chapter 3 without even realizing what he’s doing was such a great moment. You can feel his shock, and it makes you wonder just how much this other world is changing him. The whole mystery of why he’s bouncing between realities keeps things exciting, and the post-apocalyptic setting is really well done. The red sky, the massive creatures, and the power struggles between the martial families and the military all add to the tension.
One thing that really stands out is how immersive the descriptions are. Whether it’s the eerie ruins outside Beijing or the brutal school fights, everything is written in a way that makes you feel like you’re right there. If I had one small critique, it would be that sometimes the story moves so fast between worlds that I wish there were a little more time to process each moment. But overall, it’s a gripping read, and I can’t wait to see where Jun-Hyuk’s journey takes him next.

I started this thinking it would be your typical bullied-kid-gets-a-system-and-turns-OP thing, but wow. This is so much more layered than I expected. The worldbuilding? Tight. The fights? Cinematic. The emotional moments?? Painfullyrelatable.
What really surprised me, though, is Jun-Hyuk himself. He’s not cocky. He’s not “suddenly cool.” He’s awkward. He overthinks. He sweats through conversations with girls and still volunteers to fight monster swarms for a city that barely knows him. He feels real.
Also, the system having a personality is hilarious. 10/10, would get bullied by it again.

I love it so much. And even though I haven’t finished I think there is so much potential hidden between navigating these two worlds. I can’t wait to see Jun-Hyuk’s character growth obviously, but I think the mystery of the two worlds is going to be fun to unravel. Love the author’s f slightly comedic prose while still being serious. And yeah Jun-Hyuk’s probably read too many webtoons.

Great story. I really love the mc and hope for the best for him. I can’t wait to see him grow stronger and see what happens next. Author is a great writer with a fluid and easy to understand style. Wish for a bit of romance tho but the fls are interesting. Still love it.

This is peak dual-world fiction. You think the story's about beating monsters—but then the real challenge hits: facing your past, your trauma, your classmates, and yourself.
I love how grounded the Earth side is. School politics, underground fight rings, former bullies being recruited into a crew? Yes please. And then you’ve got the dome world with a whole ranking system, mysterious players, and a black sphere slowly ruining everything.
It's like the system isn’t just trying to make Jun-Hyuk stronger—it’s trying to make him feel again. That’s wild.
TLDR: If you're looking for a story with heart, action, awkward flirting, and some of the most creative side quests I’ve ever seen—read this.

I’m still recovering from Chapter 19 lmao. Like… bro really went from “I will survive the monster apocalypse” to “my system wants me to ask out my childhood crush.” 😂
What makes this story stand out is how naturally the tone switches. It’s got serious stakes, but it never loses its humor. The MC doesn’t get everything handed to him—he earns it, often by almost dying or getting emotionally wrecked.
Only thing I wish is that some of the side characters got more scenes earlier on (Min-Ho especially), but now that they’re being pulled into the crew system, I’m hyped to see what’s coming.

Hi! I really love the world building and also the character Jun-Hyuk. He is awkward, weak and seems to be have a crush on Ji-min. He seems just like the average teenage and it's sometime I can strongly relate with. Jun-Hyuk is someone you can root for and in Chapter 3 when he took down those bullies really gave me joy. My emotions were invested since Chapter 1 with the way Choi-Seok tried to extort. 30,000 won! Really? Good way to stand up for himself even if he did it unintentionally. Lol.
Moreover, the author seems quite receptive to corrections both to the plot and grammar. Overall, i love the promise of an interesting journey as well as the growth of the character.

The writing so far has been decent. No grammar mistakes that stood out to me and the plot moves quickly. No stagnation that would bore readers. Of course there are things to improve, but that is part of the journey.
The author has potential to write something great. They just need more experience and time to develop their talents!
