Niu Chang reincarnates into a new world. Naturally, a favorable path is laid out for him as a reincarnator. However, unfortunately for the world, he personifies the very definition of heartlessness.

Family relations? Morality? They hold no importance to him. All that matters in the end is whether they will benefit him on his path to immortality. From the moment of his reincarnation, the world and its inhabitants are doomed to suffer many calamities.

    I tried to approach this serial with an open mind. The innocent boy on the cover is a red herring compared to the madness within the MC's soul. Chapter 1 was a slog to read through because it required the reader to suspend reason and belief. But I'm waving the white flag at chapter 16 because I realize the author is fully entrenched on the dark side with his MC, a true sadistic psychopath, and someone I can't identify with. So it feels like watching a foreign TV show--without English subtitles. There are plenty of RR serials to read, so I'm stepping off the train now. Good luck to the author!

    This is a story about a main character system getting tied to someone whos better suited for a villian system as a result due to the mc's natural sociopathy this leads the main sub system i.e the flavour of the system never triggering as the mc resolves all fated encounters wrong. As a result the mc is in a perpetual state of never fully intillising the system and starting the story as the main character.
    The author writes with a unique style and theres a fair bit of meta narrative woven into the story.
    If this sounds like something that interests you i reccomend reading at least the first few chapters dont let the rating scare you away.
    Fair warning so far the mc comes across as a genuine sociopath if that unnerves you

    Fair warning to anyone not opposed to murderhobo/psychotic MC's as the other reviews were complaining about, this novel is garbage.
    It is nearly on the level of old mtl, it is fairly hard to track what is going on, it's like the mental equivalent of trying to remove a rusty bolt. You have to regularly stop and process the word slop, and it grinds on your mental energy.
    The only reason this isn't a half star is because I could at least understand what was going on, and I've read worse sadly.

    Honestly grammar good and plot was interesting but the story felt bland, wasnt interesting to read. Find something else, this needs rewrite.
    Minor issues: mc is ruthless but the authors insistence on "emotionless speedrunner" doesnt work when the character itself is boring
    Cultivation system is lacking, no struggle or descriptions of the cultivation itself
    The story just lacks purpose, feels like ai-generated with post edit from author

    My first review of this story was deleted because I mentioned a few things the mc did in the first 2 chapters.
    Do you guys get it? The mc is so much of a psycopath that simply mentioning what was described is enough for royal road to delete my review.
    Honestly it feels like this story it's an attempt at being edgy but it in end is bad writing coupled with an unlikable main character. That's it.
