Here's a brief summary; Guy dies by truck-kun and gets reincarnated into the body of an assassin-thief mid-mission. Guy bails on the mission and goes live the xianxia slice-of-life story.
Now then, on to what makes this story *good*;
As I said before, this is a slice-of-life story, but it's not a light-hearted one. Each chapter has two halves, the light and the dark. The first half is light, it shows the MC enjoying a new life doing country-side stuff (picking fruits and vegetables, hunting ducks, cooking delicious food, being nice to people, loving animals and taking care of the local nice old lady). The second half is dark, it shows the consequences of that fateful day the MC reincarnated and bailed on the dead assassin's mission, it shows violence and sadness, it shows the evil dealings of the underworld and the cultivators, it shows the lives of the victims that try to survive and move on.
If any of you like "Beware of Chicken" or "Qi = MC²", then I guarantee you'll like this story.

This some good stuff. The english Is quality with no noticeable mistakes. The author Is already starting to give the paired slice of life wuxia elements promised in the teaser and i want to try some duck now.
