One fateful or unfateful day, while he was going home he is struck by a small hammer in his head and dies, but instead of his soul going to heaven or hell, he is reincarnated into the world of Hunter X Hunter.

Hunter x Hunter is my absolute favourite anime! I went into this with low expectations due to the other review, and I was pleasantly surprised. Although the grammar could use some work and the foundation isn't stand-alone written.... It's better than I expected and it's well done for a fanfiction. I'm looking forward to read the rest and I think it could turn out to be an interesting story! I'm writing this review mainly to say that if you're hesitating to read this story, you should definetaly give it a try!

I can't find it in myself to continue reading this. The premise could be used to good effect: you are reincarnated in a world you've read about, and know of more than most its inhabitants.
But this premise is only good when you try to build even more on the existing world, and take your time to set things up. Here, the first 10 years of the MC's new life are barely mentioned, he lives in mansion with plentyful ressources, no interaction with the outside world, and nothing is set up properly. There is no availability to learn about, or engage with the world even with our imagination, because nothing is described or even hinted at.
I really believe this could turn out to be an interesting story, but the foundations I've been reading are shaky to say the least.
It doesn't help that HxH is among my favorite worlds and characters to read about, and I don't feel any excitement to read more of this.
