Super fun book.
The concept of HR being important was lost on me at first but the first few sentences got me to start reading it.
Writing is fast with tight narrative.
Some of the characters are annoying because they do act annoyingly stupid.
For example at one point the company is facing a war and the Mc decides it's a great time to start a video game company.

But those moments of stupidity are balanced out by the fact that the book itself is well written.

This is fantastic and so funny! I lean towards contemporary science fiction, and I absolutely adore this. The start is the only unrealistic bit but even that doesn't break my suspension on belief. Good laughs, semi-realistic, and very well written! Bravo!

Good story. A combination of mystery, science fiction, artificial intelligence with a bit of spy stuff and potential romance.
I like where it seems to be going although the author's left a lot of wiggle room. It's still all up in the air ... will the main characters get away with Glitch_HR? Will Scott ever get laid? Wait, scratch that, will Scott ever go on a date? Will Melinda's multiple personalities ever mesh into one? Will the Russian FSB ever catch on to what happened to their servers? Will the cartels ever figure out who kneecapped their soldiers?
It's a wild pseudo-science romp set in the near future.

I found it easy to identify with the main character right away. The story flows along nicely and there are some good laughs.
I think the story could be tightened up a little bit in terms of sentence structure: i.e. I found it a bit wordy. This is something I am prone to in my own writing so my 'inner editor' is kind of sensitive to it.
Looking forward to the next chapters!

Read the whole thing. It has a great world building and lots of characters are well done.
I like the main character though a bit to whiny and to unsure about himself. I am a bit sad that you didn't even try for him to have a bit of romance. Maybe instead of they not being interested it can be he is way to strong for her due to the operations from the doctor.
I really wish that they had more info about spai or something. Or better spy networks they have the Glitch_HR to hire all the spies they want.
Also do more tech stuff. Cause it seems like they only have boats a mini sub and robots. You barely talk about the flying trucks and nothing is sold to the general consumer. Like socially they wernt a threat. It would be awesome to have a bit more fleshed out side stories about the people.
I really enjoyed the story. Hopefully you will updated it soon.

This is a fun escapist "what if" story, it's a little too sweet and light for my tastes so far but it's early in the story for conclusions like that yet.
It's given hints that are promising threats though.
The characters are quite interesting and relate able, the pace is quick with not too much shoe gazing or agonising yet.
I am looking forward to see how this continues.

It's a very interesting idea that moves the story forward, first time seeing something like this. The grammar is also good.
However as I said in the title of the review, it's a good read if you're not searching for a realistic setting.Not because the protagonists take out the solutions of every problem out of their asses, but because everyone is a good guy. The way the protagonist acts and shares around a revolutionary highly illegal technology driven by idealistic naive ideas and hormones ,( the protagonists are american college students, very naive or stereotyped ones.) and every time it goes well and nobody asks the right questions or act selfishly or greedily is simply unrealistic. To not say worse.
