A Play In Two Parts:

A plague has come to Athens. Faced with a Spartan invasion and a closely contested election, Pericles,strategos ofAthens, allows the disease to spread unchecked throughout the city in an attempt to overcome his foes.

Inspired by the legacy of Pericles, King Phillip the Second of Macedon plans to invade Persia. His son, Alexander, is to be the unwilling spearhead of his campaign. Aristotle, philosopher and tutor to Alexander, seeing her pupil's distress, inspires him with a tale of the Isle of Atlas: Plato's utopia at world's end, where all may live free.
