How to be Normal?

My mom actually said that my name means 'Normal' in Japanese. But what I don't get is that why on Hiplohei would she name me 'Normal' if I'm not even normal?

Define normal - it is the usual or the typical state or condition.

Well, I'm not. I'm not the usual or the typical kind. In fact, I'm different. I grew up wanting and needing things that most of the people here are not fond of. I eat vegetables, fish and meat (or perhaps that is what my father used to call them), but them? The people here eat Gormoosh, it's some kind of a slimy...thingy. I don't even know if it's edible. But they like so much and I very much find it disgusting. I'm different because they have more than 10 eyes! Some of them have only one eye. But my friend, Kook, we both have two eyes. But he has four arms! And some of them have tentacles as mouth and tails. I have none of those! And my other friend, Nuii, she have wings. And I read books, they use Holograms and other stuff.

But my mom and dad said, there's a planet with people like me, and it's called Earth. And I, Seijo Crieff, am going there.
