How to be a dragon in a catastrophic world

Finally, after over a decade of fighting and two months with no rest, it is finished. The necromancers are defeated, the Grave World of Colony Alpha Prime has been cleansed in living fire, the uncountable restless spirits have been laid to rest, and the dragon known as Necrosbane can finally rest.

It has been several decades since an unknown enemy fired an unknown weapon at the Terran Defense Forces, launching an AI and two of his friends into a brand new world. The once-unknown enemies have been labeled the Displacers for their penchant for throwing their problems elsewhere. Where exactly, they don't care, as long as it's not their problem anymore. Problems like Necrosbane and the various fleets backing them up winning their war and being redeployed against the Displacers.

Meanwhile, Victorina Vitafina and the battalion she is a part of have been preparing for the latest System Event Cycle, arranging everything on the teleport pad that will take them there. On top of this, she is struggling to figure out how to deal with the notification from the System that she is a Half-Chosen One, whatever that is. The description is so vague she's not even sure the System knows what that means. She's doomed, isn't she?

The System has been trying to save the Core World like it was created to do, but most of its users have been obstinately and stubbornly refusing to listen to its directives, instead looking only to what they can get out of the System. Wait, how and why did its subsystems put it's newly discovered Half-Chosen One over there in that old, abandoned challenge over there? What happened to the rest of her battalion? Where did this other guy come from?
