The mixing and combination of Warhammer 40k and RWBY is done very well. How the power system of Aura interacts with the Warp and how it serves as both danger and opportunity is great.
The various viewpoints and factions who react to the MC and what she has spent decades, if not centuries, preparing to unveil is entertaining. MC is not originally from this universe and how radically others react to her and her actions is telling.
She is either loved, and revered or hated and reviled.
She is a good person who knows how to play the game but is capable of flipping the table when others have crossed the line. She has higher standards for herself and others and those who side with her hold such standards too eventually. She can be considered similar to the Emperor in that she inspires people but also different. For one thing she understands humans better and doesn’t really control things like Emps did, trusting those she has taught.
It is worth the time spent reading.
