[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon Novembar challenge of 2022]

Well, as the title says, the goal of the story is to evolve the Honey Badgers into the Apex of the Universe.

I have a few key events that I need to lay out, especially early on, but the goal is to have a story as varied as possible.

By that I mean I plan to try out every scenario and genre that exists in story writing.

How it will turn out, I do not know. However, my hope is that I will have a lot of reader critics for my story to fuel the ideas for the plot.

First Arc - The First Badg'er - Completed - Introduction to my style of writing and some basic impression of Honey Badgers.

Second Arc - The First Ascent - Completed - World-building based Arc with side plot, as I establish some of the Basic Rules of the World in which the Honey Badgers are born.

Third Arc - Tribal Beginnings - Completed - Can't escape the world-building, I am afraid. Although there are more Honey Badgers in this Arc.

Fourth Arc - Stone Age - Alexander's Reincarnation - Completed - Added a LITRPG Tag to the story. My first time doing one. Was both easy and hard.

Fifth Arc - Stone Age - Name still to be decided - Commencing - Hopping to add Horror elements into this Arc. Will see if it happens or not.

PS; Additional tags will be added as the story progresses.

PSS; The Cover was done in 15 minutes, don't expect it to be good or anything.

    Overall:
This has been a fun story to read through. Mir gets pulled into the strangest dream and takes full advantage of his dream powers. He flies, escapes a griffin, and bonds a honey badger. The dream sequence and honey badger bonding experience were written in-depth, and I was trippin' the whole time the MC was.
As a newly bonded honey badger, a simple goal of progression is given.
10/10 badgers. Would recommend. Especially would recommend it to anyone looking for an original progression fantasy series or readers who have any respect for the honey badger.
    Style:
The story is written in the first person for Mir and third person for the HB. The author does an excellent job with the narration, and there haven't been any issues with the narrative transitions. It is nice to be more in the head of Mir and get an idea of what he is thinking and trying to accomplish.
The author adds a large element of humor to his writing, making the reading experience more enjoyable.
    Grammar:
No major grammar problems. Story is easy to read.
    Story:
Mir and HB combine to form a super honey badger. The one badger to rule them all. It is a unique story that offers creative progression.
It is a story about a honey badger. Anything less than a five-star rating is not cool. Honey badgers deserve the best. Mir is cool too.
    Character:
I'll admit, I have only watched a few youtube videos on honey badgers. From what I have seen on youtube and read in the HBA, the character of the HB and my expectations match perfectly. I think the writer has captured the perfect essence of the HB.
Mir seems like a good carefree lad. From what I have read so far, it seems like he is missing some memories while still holding onto some knowledge gained in his life before the badger bonding. He understands how progression works and tailors it to work for his HB friend.
I am curious to see how these characters continue develop together and to learn more about Mir's background.
It is a fun story with honey badger prog

It's kind of hard to pin down exactly what HBA is because it has a number of elements from a few different genres. The monster evolution angle is different and has a slower more reasonable pace to it. But cosmic energy exists and can be used to manipulate relaity like cultivation style magic. If I had to pin HBA down, I would describe it as a god-sims-like generational civilisation progression story.
Grammar: Some of the sentence structure and tences are a bit off. I beleive the author is a non native english speaker, soit's understandable. However, there were only a couple of sentences where I actually had difficulty understanding what was going on.
Story: Definitely interesting. It can be difficult to tell where it is headed sometimes, but it is still very entertaining and engaging. I preferred early Act 1 and Act 3 in general, but everything so far was good. i already mentioned the genre mashup earlier, so I won't repreat it again.
Style: Nothing special in and of itself, but there are some intersting POV shifts to give a wider context of what is going on elsewhere in the world or what the antagonists are up to.
Character: Funny and weird, best way to describe them without spoilers. The MC being both in equal measure. The HBs are interesting to follow through the different arcs, as they grapple with deciding to follow agressive instincts or the MC's advice.
Recomended for anyone who likes God sims and watching Honey Badgers give zero F's

Cover: Badgerlly designed. At least, it goes well with the title.
Synopsis: It's simple but summarized what the book is all about without disclosing too much.
Grammar: Excellent. No error that could affect the flow of the story.
Story: The plotline is about the evolution of a honey badger. This fantasy story is going to be a mixture of progression, comedy and psychological. From what ive read, the story is developing really well.
Style: Third and first persons narration. Well used.
Characters: From the little I've read, they're well written.
    Overall: Great work.

Overall - The premise is simple but dificult to execute. There are very few stories that focus on this theme, that I know off. So far I like it.
Style - Two points of view in the story. That of Mir the Ghost and Alexander. Both have their styles to differentiate them better and their actions and results.
Grammar - Looked fine to me. Cant expect profesional writing here, but it was readable and got the point across, in a reality easy manner.
Story - Two different points of the story that involve each other. Mir the Ghost from Earth, is truabled by what he was and is undergoing, and Alexander is a Honey Badger that is changing with Mir's infulence. Mixed in there are a few snipets of worldbuilding for preperation of future arcs.
Characters - There is quite a lot of character development in the first arc, by both Mir and Alexander. One is more aware of it, while the other is going trough phases. The end of the first arc has displayed enough of that, but what I like is that there will be more in the future arcs, atleast if I take into considerating the first arc.
All in all, the story, the premise, and the execution is unique.
    Cant wait for more.

The premise sounds interesting, but the story is still in its baby boots.
As somebody who has read the Author's other stories, I will be mentioning a few things regarding the story.
Style - There are two PoVs in the story currently. The 1st PoV is usually seen when Mir is the focal point of the story, in this case, being the Ghost who bonded with the honey badger. 3ed PoV is used when the story is about the honey badger and his actions. Makes sense this early in the story, the honey badgers still have to evolve and have coherent conversations.
Grammer - Grammer is where the Author struggles the most in all his stories, but I have noticed an improvement over time, and while it can still improve more, I will be generous as I am the first reviewer.
Story - Now, here comes the most important part. Having read the current latest chapter, the story is still in its infancy. From the author's words, a lot will be implemented but so far the dynamic is good. It is intriguing and I find that reading how the story evolves is something I enjoy. Will edit my review in the future for better accuracy.
Character - Character wise there is some development and there is not. A bit hard to explain it without having read it. It is still too early to say how the development will go, but so far, I like it.
Overall - Being the first review I have decided to be generous and help the story forward, but in the future, I will correct the score, although there will be little to change if my opinion is asked.

This was written as part of a review swap.
Overall: It gets 5 stars just for being so original. A ghost is fished into a dreamscape, eaten and then inhabits the body of a Honey Badger. It's so weird and I kind of love it.
Style: There's 3rd person POV and 1st person POV which I don't mind at all, since it helps distinguish the characters. 1st person has more humour, but that could be because of the character's voice.
Story: I didn't go in expecting worldbuilding but it's definitely there and some of the ideas are really, really cool. Especially of the other "dream" entitites. There is an approach to treat the dreamscape like an actual place and the entities as gods of sort, and it gives an unexpected sense of gravitas behind what otherwise would only be "crack fic" energy.
Grammar: It could be clunky at parts but it was never bad enough to make me stop reading.
Character: Mir's relaxed, humorous takes on everything adds a lot of humour to the story. The voice is great and enjoyable to read. There wasn't a lot of character development but I'm not sure that's needed for this kind of story.

Spiders, badgers, and lions, oh my! I had a blast reading through the first arc of Akten Dreams' progression fantasy. It's full of creativity and wonder. I got to kick back and enjoy the twisted mind of Mir while enjoying the pace of Honey Badger life.
Style: I really enjoyed the short sentence writing style of the story. There was care taken in how the sentences build into each other and while the shorter sentences and paragraphing might throw off some, I felt it was critical to my enjoyment of the overall story.
Grammar: Overall, only a few mistakes in the first arc and the author seems responsive to reader feedback. I did have trouble reading because of the choice to use capitalization to emphasize instead of other methods of formatting like bold or underline, but that's just a me thing.
Story: The story, at least in arc 1, is simple on the surface but gets a little deeper as time goes on. I enjoyed the unhurried pace of the story, as it really gave a chance for internal thoughts to be explored.
Character: Mir is twisted, but his motivations and choices are all there for the reader to see. Character motivations are well thought out and believable within the fiction across the board.
I know things change story wise in arc 2, but I'm excited to read what Akten Dreams has in store for us!

Cos this honey badger is cultivating and he's got no time for that warrior monk bullsh*t!
Style - the style was varied, but highly effective throughout. It starts off 'trippy dream sequence' for a few chapters, then goes almost slice of life while the MCs go on their journey of ascension. It might be a bit of an adjustment for readers during the transition, but overall it's fairly smooth if you stick with it. The tone is fairly serious, but in a way that understands itself and the draw of a story like this perfectly. It avoids the realm of obnoxious self-awareness that could so easily arise in a story like this, and what we have is a surprisingly earnest story about an unlikely pair coming together to inadvertently achieve a form of ascension. And one of them is a honey badger.
Story - the story is the strongest part of this fiction, it works on a couple of different levels. There's the broader narrative, hinted at initially by the presence of the gods and chapter intros, and then the very personal arc of Alexander and Mir. I didn't know following a badger and his hitchiker on a quest to get grub and chicks could be so engaging but here we are!
Grammar - some minor issues spotted here and there, but nothing to distract from the story.
Character - so far Alexander has been the standout for me. I won't say everything I want too here because spoilers for the first arc, but that adorable, belligerent, horny little honey badger is a fantastic protagonist. Mir is great as well, though he feels like a bit of a softer character. He's calm and analytical despite his situation, and his actions do a fantastic job of driving the plot forward. I'm looking forwards to seeing where he goes next!
All in all, this is a great, highly original read and I encourage everyone to give it a shot!

So far i like the story,  and I hope it will continue to be so.
The premise is simple, but it takes a lot of imagination to execute. So far there are only two MC but who knows who else will appear, and how the honey badgers will evolve.
Will they be pure predators? Or will there be other notions as Mir was a human?
I do hope they will be closer to us, for eaiser enjoyment of story.

Overall: Mir and HB mix so well together that it alone makes it enough for you to try reading this story. Honestly, I never expected to read a story that has a honey badger as one of the main characters.
Style - Between the two POVs the style does exactly what it needs to do and that's to convey a story. It's a bit weird switching between first and third person when the POVs change, but you get used to it quickly and narratively it makes sense.
Story - Personally I tend to avoid writing much about the elements of the story so as to not accidentally spoil something, but having read the first Arc, I can safely say that it's at the very least an enthralling story. Maybe not the fastest story out there, but the room for growth as the author tries to showcase worldbuilding through quite a unique style of writing. The pace might pick up as we enter the second arc, but I don't think it needs to. Personally, I'm enjoying it, and it also happens to be my first time ever reading a species evolution story.
Grammar - I struggle to give a perfect score for grammar, but the author is significantly improving from chapter to chapter.
Characters - I know absolutely nothing about honey badgers, but god did I enjoy reading about this one. While the story mostly focuses on our dear Mir, I'm sure that we'll get to see more of our little friend as they evolve. Honestly, I can't wait to see how the dynamic works later on in the story and what the Author will do with them.
Title - This is literally the only complaint you'll truly hear from me. Why does the title need to have an explanation of what type of story it is? (I'm joking)
Cover - The cover makes me laugh every time I see it, but that's probably because it reminds me of my D&D group and one of our friend's weird obsession with honey badgers.
