Homegrown System

Description
Read onAmazonOne perk of making the system was getting to skip the tutorial.
Unfortunately, Alice could have used the help. Creating the world-ending AI that became the Earth's system wasn't exactly intentional, after all. And now that everyone else is gone, she's left with a clear goal—figure out how to shut down her own creation. Well, that and survive.
But with monsters and ancient creatures roaming the streets, it won't be easy. Alice will have to use her knowledge and battle her own constantly-evolving creation to set things right. All while unraveling the mysteries of magic, the changing world, and the strange man left behind with her.
Alice always heard that homegrown produce is the best. She just hopes the same isn't true about homegrown systems.

- EquinoxRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Personally this is one of my favorite novels of the year, and though the beginning was a bit rough the author did a good job writing a believable response to causing the actual fucking apocalypse from the main character without having the crippling “character development” (trauma) overstay its welcome but also without having it disappear suddenly and stay as a part of their core motivation.
The only large issue I have with the novel is the fact that the main character doesn’t feel like the main character for a good dozen chapters or so, but then again that has a good explanation and it’s just a personal taste from me. Overall Love it :) - zhuMumieRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Its a LitRPG!
Nowadays RR is full of litrpg stories, system apocalypses, isekai / reincarnations. What differentiate these stories are the twists, changes to their core concepts. Homegrown System tells a story of a young and intelligent girl who by sheer dumb luck, and maybe some magic, creates a System. System, that teleports nearly everyone to a tutorial and starts creating monsters all over Earth. Now it's up to Alice, our MC, to resolve all the mysteries surrounding the system and maybe, with some luck, fix the destruction that it caused.
(As of now, the story is still young. So take this review with a grain of salt. I might come back to this review later.)
Style
Narration is steady, writing easy to follow and understand. Some of the dialog can seem clunky or awkward. Overall there isn’t a problem with the writing. I’d say it’s above average or very good compared to other RR stories.
Story
Fans of other LitRPGs will enjoy this one. The story starts fast and doesn’t slow down. In a classical fashion, we get System notifications right off the bat with MC jumping into action. My biggest problem, or con of this novel is the pacing and ‘litRPGness’. The start of the story feels like every other litRPG novel. Apocalypse comes with a System. Few sentences of distress and right to the action. For me, the pacing might be too fast and I’m scared the ‘level ups’ (or System talk) might overwhelm the story telling.
Grammar
Haven't found any major mistakes or issues so far. Edit: started seeing some mistakes. They get corrected tho.
Character
It's hard to score Character right now. There are only two characters so far and most of the time is spent in action or planning. MC is likeable, smart and with flaws that make her look more human. Someone who is trying to prove their skill to others while looking for a place in a big world. Titus is full of mysteries and I'm excited to see them uncovered. Overall I don’t see a glaring problem. (I will update this after i get a better - TelRoyal Road★★★ 2.5The scenerio is top notch, but almost immediately the main becomes hyper incompetent while a random side character becomes hyper competent with plot armor.
New main?
I don't know.
Anyway I didn't find it compelling and was put off by the escort mission vibes as the side character hauled the main around in a reverse escort.
