I enjoy the quirky, sometimes vulgar way that the character thinks - especially when dealing with the surreal strange world that they find themselves in.
I am curious where the author will take the story. I have a wide range of questions and ideas around this - all of them are intriguing. I can imagine it is going to be thought-provoking and entertaining - with novel and creative twists and turns like VM.

I loved every page of this story, Thundamoo does a great job of making me pause to think, pause to cry and continue regardless because this story is a joy to read and a wonderful perspective on life. I read every chapter in one sitting and was completely happy with that, the ending is odd but right in it's own way. Do yourself a favour and read it.

Ah... what a cruel and beautiful story.
I don't agree with all the choices that have been made, and I feel like I could habe done better in the place of the protagonists, but overall this is frustratingly one of the least bad courses of action possible.
Still, it feels like the vision of the author (or maybe not the author I guess) is being forced as the only viable answer, with no room to argue. And I couldn't agree less to that.

I guess I might have some insight to give the collective ? If I actually sit down and think about it for some time (which I unfortunately don't have enough of currently)
On an unrelated note, I like the insights the story gives over ADHD and the pov of a panic attack, or existential crises. It's something I have a hard time imagining, what with being such a constantly chill person (almost) incapable of stress. Yet Evelyn actually felt somewhat relatable in that aspect somehow.
Well, I wish her all the best, and I hope such a sci-fi scenario never ever presents itself irl, as utilitarianly good as it could be.

Overall: Close you eyes and imagine... Cinnamon Bun meets Vigor Mortis. A simulataneously adorable and slightly horrifying story about a very nice girl who has no plans to use her hivemind powers for evil. Bonus points, the abbreviation, HMGGH, is even the sound made by people who are hugged too hard!
Style: The style is great—It's written in first person and present tense and the prose consistently reflects the MC's personality and state of mind. Thundamoo's prose is consistently top tier both here and in Vigor Mortis, easily contending for best on RR.
Character: Where this story truly shines, even if there's literally one sapient character so far. Evelyn just oozes adorkablility. She loves bugs and plays the zerg in Starcraft because they're cute. She invents voices and personalities for her pets. She's precious and deserves all the hugs.
Grammar: A few occasional typos missed by the beta readers aside, perfectly good. I haven't seen any typos that weren't caught by beta readers (by definition :P) and while I'm sure they exist, there aren't many.
Story: This was originally a quest so the story is very exploratory and character driven. It's a survive-and-hopefully-thrive type story of a girl discovering that she's a bug hivemind and trying to survive while avoiding becoming one of the many evil bug hiveminds in science fiction.

I don't often leave reviews for things, but when a story stratches a itch that has been tossing in my brain for years, it is inconcievable not too.
A heavily engaging narritive with well written characters and generally fun story, but none of that is why this story is truely amazing for me. Read it, binge it now.
    Mild spoilers below
At the heart of the story is conflict of Lust vs Justice. Ends before Means or Means before ends. It is also something that is at the heart of my personal philosphy. I fundementally believe in the Justice side, but out all virtues it is the hardest to justify utilitarianly, when comparing to all the good Lust can do when applied with good morals. The ending, while aburpt, was perfect as it doesnt feel like it gives you answer on which is better, just what is practical. I'm rambling semi-incoherently, but the point is this story scratches one my favorite morally topics in just such a delightful way.

'"Fantasy is an exercise bicycle for the mind. It might not take you anywhere, but it tones up the muscles that can." -Terry Pratchett'  -Thundamoo.
I love the main character and the way she thinks. The book raises the question of what you would do with absolute power and what humanity means.

Not just pleasant to read, but genuinely hard to put down. Thought-provoking, heartwarming, chuckle-inducing, gay, it has it all. The story treats seriously a moral dilemma that I very rarely see explored with this level of seriousness, much less with the care this story lovingly treats it.
Additionally, this story really hit for me, as a fellow haver of anxiety, depression, and adhd. For me, any kind of exercise in projecting myself onto the hero of an isekai starts with "ah dang it'd be really hard for me to get my meds huh", so seeing that represented here for the first time was fulfilling in a way I didn't really recognize I was missing.

This is a beautiful book that makes you feel all the emotions.so strappe your self in for en emotional rolacosteur. This book has a lot of philosophical questions  and  character development and the relationships between those characters. Their is still a lot amount of action and adventure but that isn't the story's focus. In conclusion 5 stars loved the story

This story was fun to read & kept me hooked. Some of the cryptic backstory is revealed once we are well into the plot and it might raise more questions than it answers but it all mostly comes together in the end. The story ends on a very definite, if somewhat abrupt conclusion. It does all make sense eventually which is what counts. There's humor in good doses and philosophical questions that involve references to pop culture including Star Trek, StarCraft & DC comics among others. Overall, a recommended read for those into Isekai and MC progression & survival stories.

I dropped this story for a couple weeks, around like chapter 18. Then i caught up all the Bioshifter and read some other stuff, and came back here when I went through Thundamoo withdrawal.
Anyway things immediately went nuts like a couple chapters later. STICK WITH IT. I couldn’t get this story out of my head AT ALL for like a WEEK. Absolutely incredible.
