Description

"'Why,' a woman asked me, 'would they show a movie with things I do not want to see?'

She is not unusual.

Most people choose movies that provide exactly what they expect, and tell them things they already know.

Others are more curious.

We are put on this planet only once, and to limit ourselves to the familiar is a crime against our minds."

- From the Great Roger Ebert

Be forewarned, this story is not for everyone.

It's not even for some people. This is for just a select few who get wet from misery and excited by suffering.

This is no level up, power up, let's kill monsters, op mc, fantasy land, standard litrpg garbage you find in basically every other story on this site. If the rest of RoyalRoad is shounen (which it is), then this is Gantz/Berserk.

Sorry. I lied. This is darker than Berserk and bloodier than Gantz.

Not a manga fan? Then how about Korean cinema? Have you heard of Kim Ki-duk? His works The Isle, Moebius, and Pieta all come to mind.

Again, this is not for normal people. There's a bunch of other normal stories for normal people to read. The whole rest of the site library is for normal.

This is a special section set aside for a special type of story meant for a special kind of people. If you follow or favorite this, you're telling the whole world that you're a little different. A bit twisted.

I guess you could call it the BDSM of reading. Which segues perfectly into the introduction.

Are you kinky? Are you familiar with the taboo? Have you ever thought about the depths of human depravity?

What I'm trying to ask is, do you like fucked up shit?

Do you like massacres and public shamings? Do you like watching people fall into despair, going insane, or turning into psychopaths? Do you get turned on when love is destroyed and hedonism reigns king?

Well, I've got the perfect story for you!

If you're uncomfortable with profanity, gore, sexual and traumatising content, then I recommend you move on.

I won't judge you just cause you're a pussy.

And I'm not talking about the fake labels of the other candy ass stories on this site who think their shit is morbid or even remotely disturbing, I'm talking about the shocking, offensive, real fucked up shit that you can't even use incognito mode for and you gotta install Tor browser. (You don't actually need to install Tor, you idiot.)

If you love that shit or even if you're just curious, then read on. I swear it's not as bad as you think it'll be. It's much worse.

- Signed with no love, Marley (written by a friend in the voice of Marley)

Unapologetic, cynical, pretentious, pessimistic, hypocritical, selfish, sarcastic, passive, apathetic asshole main character named Marley.

Alternate POV: Badass, intelligent, proactive, loving, nice, friendly, optimistic co-main character Sophia.

This is essentially a rough draft. Grammar and spelling has been read through and fixed for the most part.

If you don't like something, tell me why you don't like it. Don't just rate it low anonymously. Thanks.

It's goddamn fantastic is what this is! That's the short version but what I love the most is that the main characters are not your usual anti social weabo loser you usually see in a high school setting such as this, that seems to be popular for some goddamn reason.
You heard that right folks, a high school setting where anti social weabo losers are not the main focus!!!
All the characters so far are your typical all American alphas, high theta individuals. They are all sociable, good looking and in no way losers. Read and you will see.
For the main characters, there is two. Marley and Sophia. They are both popular, socially adept, physically able, clever and smart. The difference is that, one is a narcissistic sociopath who would want you dead if you're a boring loser who bring zero amusement to the table and the other is zealous optimist, who heartedly believes that the grass is far greener on the other side but atleast she's rather proactive about. Working her hardest to have the happy ending that she wants which makes it better or worst depending who you ask.
Pick your poison but I recommend you picking both. LoL
The rest(who are still alive) are capable in their own right but one thing is for sure, most of them aren't your weabo losers. All of them(including the two MC) are alpha high theta and the exemplar of the successful, popular people you see in high school. They got it all, sex, looks, social skill and brain. Those that stands out are the alpha, the higher ups of high school higharchy and most likely survive this game.
    Just love the characters.
For plot, nothing to say as of now We are in the same predicament like our characters here. Both parties are at loss of what is going on and shows great story telling by the author.
As for the problems. There are few but it's there and hope it will worked on in the future.
One of them, is the trend of forgetting the narrator and what's they're doing when he/she does a monologue of what is happening in the chaos sur

It's crass, blunt, rude, crude, violent, and vulgar. It has been so long since I have read a book like this and it is for these reasons that I LOVE THIS BOOK!
I can only hope that it that never stops and keeps picking up speed cause this is great!

I'm liking the story so far. The first thing I appreciate is how consistent and how things are described to make the reader understand and get a big picture of the character's situation. It followed the idea of showing instead of telling well, just like how the scenario described the principal's situation while inside his office.
I find it interesting when the "game" began - a game that none of them are expecting, and as a reader, it builds up the curiosity and tension on how Sakura will find Reo considering the situation. The only thing I noticed is the lack of punctuations in some parts of chapter 4, but it's not anything that affects the reading experience. I like the plot, and I'll continue reading.
