If you are here for a serious story then just turn around and go back the way you came. This story is comical and ridiculous, the characters seem pretty fleshed out as far as I can see, the background of the story is a bit weird and you can't really tell if the world is trying to be a game or an actual universe as one chapter the characters outside the party are incredibly life like and realistic, and the next has references to npc behavior in skyrim and boss battle layouts. Basically, if you enjoy jokes, references, and ridiculous humor/slapstick, you will probably like this story. If you like serious, and realistic(ish) stories you are gonna wanna give this one a pass.

When I first clicked on this, it was because I couldn't believe someone had managed to hit Trending with an MS Paint cover.
When I got into the chapters however, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the work is of a much higher standard than a lot of what is on RR.
The style is simple, no real bells or whistles to distract from the comedy. And it becomes clear this is by design. It pushes the plot along at a decent pace and blends a team of winners and losers into a tale of comic frivolity, spurred on by a number of memorable laugh-out-loud moments.
Grammar and syntax are well edited, as is clear by changes I've seen. The author is (and kudos to them for this) is going over their work after posting to check errors and comments.
The story is interesting, with a pretty clear direction and a lot of side-missions to keep readers entertained. Pacing is fast and each chapter deals with a discrete mission taken on by the party or by individual members.
By chapter 30 or so we run into the first dungeon which is an interesting take on the "Builder" systems.
All in all, this is a comedy made to parody the LitRPG genre, and the story serves this function incredibly well.
The characters are a mixed bag of winners and losers who interact as a team to create a number incredibly funny moments. The main characters are introduced and engage with each-other immediately, while others join the band along the way.
Each has their own particular quirk and they all engage with each other in predictably fun ways. This makes it more amusing when something happens to break the trope.
All in all, a very well made web-novel. Rare to see such quality work on RR.

Very good.  Basically it's from an NPCs perspective on a gamer entering their world.  It's absolutely ridiculous in a good way😁
NGL it's taking a long time for me to read as you have to be in the "right" mood.  This isn't a serious type of book as MC just wants to have fun so he just goes with the flow.

Honestly, this story is very impressive. While none of the concepts in the story are especially new or innovative, they way they fit together makes for a very fun read. It refuses to ever be serious or heavy, and just demands wholesome fun. Truly an interesting and novel concept. It's almost like a conceptual power fantasy

I have no idea how one would review this story to capture it's full color range.
One, I could tell you that the cover is ... accurate. And pretty much sets the tone for the story.
Two, this is exactly the kind of story I love to find around here, bizare, interesting and unique. Unlike most others that fit the same bill, it's easy to read and no grammar mistakes that I could see. (not a native speaker)

I was drawn to this book by its bright cover.  I was looking for somewhere to start and it looked so different that it hinted at originality and not taking itself too seriously which is refreshing.  It’s a light-hearted romp with plenty of laugh out loud moments, a feisty female MC and a very laid-back gamer.  Maybe the gamer could be more aggressive but it’s easy to like him.  This appears to be a first book and I think the author has made a great start.
Style: Flows easily with appropriate natural dialogue.  Doesn’t try to overdo the description with unnecessary adverbs and adjectives but still sets the scene while not sacrificing the action.
Story: Basically jumps straight into the action where Melly, a young village girl, encounters our gamer in the forest.  The story follows them as they try to rescue her village from villains.  On the way they build an entourage of assorted and quirky characters.  Just when you think you know what’s going to happen, something unexpected takes our heroes in a different direction.
Grammar: Very good.  Some minor faults.  You can tell it’s been properly edited.
Character: Clemiticus MC is a bit cocksure, prone to stuff ups but generally likeable.  The female protagonist, Melly, is strong and feisty without being bitchy.  There are several other characters, my favourite being Neucus, who mixes up his adjectives.

This book is very good and also very silly. If you're looking for a silly book please read this one because it's written by a very good author who has put in a lot of work and effort and his books reflect that very much so this would be a good read for people looking for something comedic and different to read. I really like all the characters and the different personas displayed in this book

I'm enjoying this story so far. The characters have been engaging, and the plot, while not "an american masterpiece", has been fun and enjoyable.
I'm loving the character of Dog The Whale and have laughed out loud a couple of times. There's been more than one event that genuinely surprised me, and I'm truly hoping for minimal character growth!
    Definitely, Decently Fun!

    A laugh-out-loud comedy of errors.
The main character is Melly, a young villager lady. She is unfortunately saved by an otherworldly gamer and his reality-bending fairy.
This is a fantasy world, slowly turning into an immersive RPG by a higher power, for giggles.
The gamer, Clemiticus, is by no means a toxic personality. He simply feels that way to Melly. I'd say he's rather mild-mannered, as far as gamers go. Good news: Clem doesn't swear, PK, go grimdark, or enslave.
I am happily surprised about the (so far) lack of harem and the complete off-the-wall humor. :)

Up to halfway chapter 8, which was when I pulled the plug, yet another generic litrpg parody with its customary snarky protagonist, serendipitous gags, meta genre savviness, etc. Probably the time is ripe for parodies of these parodies to become a thing.
Just the usual jokes and gags; no characterization, worldbuilding or prose to speak about. What it does, it does as well as any. Fans of the genre who haven't yet been exposed to too many of these will probably get a few laughs out of it.
