Description
Erin was only weeks away from finishing college and starting her life in earnest, so dying was inconvenient, to say the least. Thrust into a new life in the magical world of Jetriser, she must scramble to survive a botched reincarnation in a less than newb-friendly region.

- RingoDingoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Edit/update as of chapter 35: The story has gone on hiatus. Maybe burnout from doing the writathon? Anyway, I thought the story was pretty fun and light-hearted.
The MC is slowly assembling a team of people (through no fault of her own) to navigate a confusing fantasy world. We get glimpses of large evil forces at work, but they haven't been a huge part of the story yet.
Hoping we get more chapters in the future.
Original: Currently the story is only 8 chapters in, but I thought it could use a review because I'm really enjoying it so far. The MC is a relatively naive heroine (? we'll see) seeing it in a fantasy world with only a bit of magic and a system interface to help her along the way. So far I've really enjoyed her discoveries in this world and the predicaments she finds herself in.
Grammar and story have been excellent so far and I'm enjoying the story more than many of the highly rated stories in RR. I'll probably edit this review as the story progresses. Give it a shot! - Sea ChangeRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Very few isekai stories I have read deal with how someone from a non-magical world would really react to being thrust into a new magical world. This story goes through each of the steps we know and love and goes through them in detail. Because the story is as it says on the box: it is not newbie friendly.
Even getting into the world almost results in Erin's new death, and the brutal nature of the world is truly shocking. Even the narrator or system that many rpg type stories have that "talks" to the character is surly and unhelpful. Sometimes the human denizens of the world are at least a place the character can rest and learn, but even if she did end up with such folks they sure seem pretty evil and uncaring. Some stories the snerks and sarcasm of either the MC or the system can be fun. Here, it is not. Erin goes through shock after shock and somehow her 'stats' do not help her with this.
Style: this is typical for any died and chucked into a new fantasy world, there are no big surprises here. It is a little different in here that truck-kun is brutal, there's usually something special about the MC from having skillz others don't have to full Mary Sue, and the character retaining knowledge and skillz from earth before. Erin doesn't seem to know *anything*.
Story: It goes through each and every place that there might be a difficulty in progressing either in the system it works though or in general adaptation of fantasy worlds. So ten chapters in and the MC is still in shock and barely surviving. This will be a slow burn.
Grammar: well constructed paragraphs, few spelling errors, no grammar errors. Because certain parts of the story seem like they are going to follow certain patterns parts of it cause the reader have to go back and re-read.
Character: This is where the story truly shines. We get a full and detailed explanation of Erin and know what she is thinking or likely to do at all times. The three side characters I have seen so far each behave as - luda305Royal Road★★★★ 3.5It's an okay start. Basically, she lived a good life and got her soul upgraded, so now she can reincarnate (as an adult) into a fantasy world.
One concern I have is that the fiction purports to be more realistic (eg, no respawns, this is real life, this is not a game) but the LitRPG system in place is very game like. So there's a bit of tension there. On top of that, the plot (as little as it is) is also rather game like respecting the encounters and native characters. Inclusive on that point are a few instances where things are forced forward, or where some deus ex machina occurs. Again, there's a bit of tension between what it purports to be in text and how it actually reads in text.
One of the big themes between the protagonist and the first companion character is denialism. It gets a bit old after ten chapters, and I'm not sure when (if at all) that will be resolved (there's no clear character arc for that to be resolved). So if that bothers you, perhaps skip this.
On a technical side, the grammar is excellent.
Edit: Minor fixes to above.
