Description
Gold Morning was supposed to be the end. The capstone of a short, frenetic career. Taylor Hebert's fight was supposed to be over. But the end of one story is often the beginning of another, and when she's offered the chance to take part in a mission whose scale and scope feel so very familiar, there's only one answer she could give.
A Fate/Grand Order fanfic where the story of Worm's Taylor Hebert continues beyond Gold Morning as a member of Chaldea's A Team, and how that might impact the events of FGO canon. Expect to see Singularities with tweaked events and expanded rosters of (sometimes OC) Servants to fill in where they might have been lacking (e.g., more Roman emperor Servants in Septem, more pirates in Okeanos, etc.) as well as the team feeling the weight of the events surrounding them and finding their own ways of shouldering that burden.

- KasamiGiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The reasons I like this can be seen throughout the comments, I don't like repeating myself or replacing them with feels-good-words, too lazy. It's kind of surprising the lack of commenters in there too, sooooo, anyone reading this, the story is great if you're looking for realism and details mining. From what I see, the author already got a vision for the story and the additions are well thought out. A little bit angsty for me, though nothing out of character, I think, dunno the insert. Definite recommend.
Edit: dunno why I need to say this, probably because of my lack of expectations for the internet, but it's a better reading experience by knowing the original FGO story. It's a fanfic, it should be obvious. And while I do understand some appeal in reading stuffs without prio knowledge, I did it myself, just know that fanfictions half expect you to already know what they're talking about so there's room for set-ups, twists and diversion. - caster137Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5honestly i like it so far haven't noticed any grammar mistakes story is fun and blends both story's well Taylor feels like Taylor and most of the characters feel like them selves from what i have seen if you know fate you know what your getting into the story goes across the different singularity's of grand order and each of the characters recruited are fairly fun
- PhantryxRoyal Road★★★ 3.0I've started reading this a few weeks ago on SB and am currently at the end of the septem arc.
Grammatically speaking and style wise this story is fine, nothing incredibly impressive but pretty solid and without any major mistakes I've noticed. Which brings us to the problems: Story and Character.
Now keep in mind I am primarily a reader, secondarily a WORM fan and have almost no idea about FATE and to be honest, considering the ginormous mess the FATE timelines are, exactly zero motivation to learn.
This part does the story pretty well, I never felt as if things were incomprehensible to me.
From the WORM side of things, well. Taylor is interesting as a Character here and I wouldn't go as far as say it's a case of TINO, however she does feel sometimes very much out of character, especially when interacting with the other masters. Who are also a problem. One of them (can't remember their names), the guy, almost seems like background dressing for most of the time, not really having a personality or role outside of chastising his sister, who, in my opinion is the worse one. A bit of a bland character is not a huge problem, especially with the story focus on Taylor and the colourful Servants thrown in the mix. However the girl seems to be completely oblivious to the circumstances of their situation (the end of the world) (and not even fake cheerful either, just totally unconcerned) and stupendously incompetent. Now I get that they were basically only in that situation because noone else was left, but you'd think Taylor would be stricter as a team leader when this much is in danger and the girl just risks the whole mission with her stupidity. This gets cranked up to 11 when she meets nero in septem but more on that later.
Septem. Alright let's talk about septem. The Joanne of Orleans arc was fine with me, pretty good actually, but Septem made me feel physically sick almost every second chapter.
Anachronisms.
Generally I don't have anything in principle against anachronis
