Heirs of the Dragon Queen

With the fall of the Dragons and the rise of the gods, what is left for those who served the losing side?  Very little, from what Glaucia could see.  Driven from their kingdoms they fled to the hills, were driven to the mountains, and finally were harried all the way to the sunless deeps.  But that was a thing for the past, outside of living memory.  What could such distant matters mean to a young kobold?
