Description

When an accident causes the early death of two young women, one is chosen to become a hero, a saviour, and a servant of the God of Heroes!

This is not her story. This is the story of Valeria, whose soul clung to her friend’s, and who was dragged into a new world where her wandering spirit was claimed by the Goddess of Darkness.

And so, one who doesn’t belong grows to become the servant of the Dark Goddess, a servant—definitely not a daughter—who will usher in a new age of despair and disgust.

The only problem is, she’s really bad at the whole “evil” thing, not that she’s unwilling to do her best to please heradoptive mom, theDark Goddess Luciana.

If you like Raven stories, this one is right in line with the rest. Happy tone, but not a diabetes inducing level of sweet, like Cinnamon Bun can be at times, while still having more serious things happening as well. I find it a very good balance in the storytelling.
This is Raven's take on a cultivation x LitRPG style story. So far the cultivation has taken the front seat with only glimpes at the LitRPG aspects.
I'm very excited to see where Raven can take this world and what is going to happen next.

This series starts off cute and fun...and it gets better with every page from there. I enjoyed both books a ton and my only regret is book 3 hasn't started yet!
The monsters are great, and the battles are surprisingly exciting. I shiver in fear at the hydra in book 2.

This is a very well-written story, with a lot of interplay on several levels (!), between cluelessness and discovery.
The main characters are particularly interesting, as is the premise of being able to create personal monsters for special purposes, and I enjoyed watching the growth of awareness and relationships between the characters as the story developed.  It was a particularly clever idea to wind multiple separate threads for the adults and the adolescents through the story.  And I particularly liked Felix.

First of, I'm not a native English speaker, but I never noticed anything wrong with the grammar, so that can only be good.
The ''style'' is arguably the most unique thing about this story. The chapters switches between different povs, the pov themselves being set at different points in time. It sounds weird and confusing, but it's actually well made enough to be understandable and I think greatly benefits the story. The story greatly relies on its premise, and this premise can only appear after some setup, and like this we can have setup and payoff at the same time, without threading in spoilers territory.
I'm giving less story points because honestly, there isn't much of a story yet. The characters do stuff, it's adorable and entertaining, but never really meaningful. It's kinda an action-slice-of-life? It could use more emphasis on the ''vilainous'' part of our mc that are (mostly) implied for now.
The characters on the other hand are amazing. They're original, live up to the premise and the title, and above most importantly, the mc is evil in a way that their actions don't allow us to say ''that's evil'' because we're too busy saying ''that's so cute''. And the secondary characters are all developed and entertaining.

Happens a lot with RavensDagger.  I start one of their books and don't stop until the faded Next Chapter.  An interesting magic system, taking place on a world where monsters are a constant and generally understood threat to humanity.  The cool parts are the relationships between entities/individuals, I'm a sucker for a light hearted story with intense moments of exteme violence and darkness with an MC that feels like they have a unique circumstance...which is quite difficult to pull off I think.  A great mix of ideas that works great for me.  Please continue!

Great story, really loved the slice of life chapters. The story also had plenty of action to keep the story from ever being boring. Would have loved to see more of the lit rpg aspect such as skills and classes. They were mentioned as a big deal at the beginning but kind of just faded into the back ground towards the end of the story. Overall though it was great and one of my favorites.

A story of a young girl reincarnated in another world as a child of evil, bad, totally-not-good Dark Godess. The narration is done in two intermitten streams: flashbacks at the past ("Monster" chapters) showing her growth into current (still very young) form, and consistent story, starting with her first adventure outside of mother's realm ("Terror" chapters).

I really like where this is going. The premise is a nice twist on the typical Isekai, and we are getting some solid world building and character work at the beginning. The LitRPG/magic system is gradually being revealed, and we already got introduced to both a current and future plot point.
There's some time changes, which can sometimes be confusing, but in this case it is done well and the chapter title indicates which time we will be in for that chapter. So far most of the story follows the main plot with a few chapters of how things started and one chapter from the future.
The main thing that makes this fun is the combination of the main character being both naive and unintentionally terrifying at the same time. My favorite part of the story so far is how she thinks traditionally scary things are cute, and I can't wait for more.

Internal consistency is something I really appreciate in a fantasy setting. The magic system operates under a few fairly simple rules that are intuitive to the nature presented. The color wheel of emotion is fairly easy to visualize, and is generally trustworthy in expectations. The magic felt like part of the world, and not just a plot device to be manipulated for plot.

This is once again a fantastic story by this author that really knocks it out of the proverbial park.
This is a very fun and light hearted story that is well worth reading with very cute characters and a wonderful and rich world. The main character can create monster friends to help her on her journey which is just wonderful!
