I am very hopeful for this story (at CH24).
I think the start is much better than most to set up the main personality, as well as supporting roles. The details setting up the main character are really well done as it builds a much more comprehensive character than most stories. Actual looks at motives and thought processes that really bring the characters to life showing their differences.
It does still have a little of the "random power up that shouldn't really work" and feels a little forced, but I wouldn't let that stop you from reading.
While the world is a little chaotic and less clear than other stories, I think it will allow for expansion. It also brings in many of my favorite aspects of different fantasy worlds so I will be following this story for sure.

While this story does start out a bit… off… it does pick up.
There are very few grammar issues. So few that it is clear that the Author isn’t using us readers as free editors like most writers on this site.
The first CW chapter captures the scene very well to the point where for a moment… I was back in a memory that I tend to avoid no matter the cost.
Yet while there is darkness there is also light. Kon… you are going to be a great mother. Fairy “queen”, I am going to enjoy watching you tear your hair out. And Demon boy… hehe I pity you and your pride.
And most of all, I pity the fools in that corrupt government and look forward to watching Lila’s vengeance. Only read a few chapters so far, but I hope that soon we will see the filthy family of “A” being put in their proper place… left to rot where they lay.
