- ZamidahRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is something special. Every scene flows well into the next, and leaves me curious for more. The main character is an isekai, but it's someone with only vague familiarity with the Xianxia genre. Every character feels realistic, and the dialogue is well written and doesn't feel forced or stilted. The worldbuilding is interesting, and the character's ability has potential. Overall, my biggest complaint about this story is that the author doesn't have a patreon set up yet, so I can't pay to read more chapters.
Style: The author's writing style meshes well with the genre, and I've never skimmed a single section of this story, which is common for me when reading early chapters in a xianxia story.
Grammar: I have not noticed any grammar mistakes, and everything reads naturally.
Character: Every character feels as if they have motivations and secrets of their own, avoiding the unfortunately common scenario of the world feeling fake, as if it's just a sandbox for the MC to play in.
Story: The only category I haven't given full marks in, solely for the slightly underwhelming, generic, and illogical way the MC's cheat ability seems to work.
The skill fusions that happen have very few details provided, some don't make very much sense, and it often feels like a downgrade.
Other than that, I'm enjoying where the story is going, and I have faith in the author to improve with that part, due to the high quality of the other parts of the story. - Steven W WhitfieldRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Semi competent MC who stubbies into a planer rift, where a monitoring system notices him and under emergency protocols deposits him on nearest safe location. Neat concept that comes with a survival bundle of a multiverse translator and a skill harvesting program. Which allows him to gain skills from Beasts and People. Lacking most survival or frankly any skills( Thanks modern education) he struggles and makes mistakes but does, not badly. Fun read and engaging!
- Krypto_ozulRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I've rather enjoyed the story currently. Love getting the notification that there's been a update. The story is coming along at a good pace and the MC isn't to OP, just enough to stay relevant to the scene he's currently in. Makes it a refreshing story and keeps the readers attention instead of the MC just curb stomping through all the mobs and becoming to broken to fast.
- CatgurlRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Very good writer and solid story that is keeping my interest. I have added it to my followed and am looking forward to more. I really want to see where this story goes. Appreciate that while the mc is naive, which totally makes sense, he is not stupid. Also no typos or misused words that I noticed - well done!
P.S. Sadly, another good story which likely will never be completed. Ah well - life happens. Good luck and God bless Flamecabbage.
P.P.S. And the story is back! Yay!!! - MrHrulginRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Reasonably interesting, but the author is in the habit of telling you what happened rather than actually showing it happening. Rather than writing dialog for the characters, they'll just say that they talked for a moment and then did something. It's an incredibly sterile way of experiencing the world.
- TitaniumElephantRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I like the story so far but the MC is a little bit weak willed for me, at least now. I like the premise which is similar to the manhwa "Your talent is mine", but since its still developing I don't know which direction this is going yet. I don't particularly like murderhobos but I can't stomach a person flinching like an abused puppy just with harsh looks and prickly attitudes. Maybe we'll get more of the how and why he was Isekai'ed except if its irrelevant, then some world building would be nice
- PeteygRRRoyal Road★★★ 3.0The obligatory Slave Arc. I never understand why they get included, but the more of them I run into, the more I do not like them. Sorry, I know you need to grow your MC and have some conflict to forge him, but I won't be along for the ride.
On a positive note, the story is well written and the MC is relatable. No noticeable spelling or grammar errors. I was enjoying the story until this. - NaumFaruqRoyal Road★★★ 2.5Was kinda promising in the first dozen or so chapters then the author decided to drag things out. Entire chapters could be removed and nothing would have been lost, even those chapters where something important happens are unnecessarily bloated. As is it's just a boring read.
This makes it 51 words. - EddieMRoyal Road★★★ 2.5I know that the tag mentions profanity, so i'm not knocking the author for that. It's just that he uses it sooo much, even when the sentence doesn't need it. I read until chapter 23 and just couldn't take it any more. If you're into that kind of thing then enjoy.
- TrentonguffeyRoyal Road★ 0.5The story is good but the author just drop all of the books they make
They are good at writing but I dont think they have any real goal in finishing any of there books and I cant like a book that will likely never have a ending but drop half way in
