- Moist NuggetRoyal Road★★★ 3.0Honestly the style, grammar and dialog in this story is top-tier. Insanely well written as a normal story, let alone a fanfic. My only gripe with it might seem ridiculous, but this story suffers from the opposite of the saying:
"Wide as a lake, deep as a puddle"
This story is so incredibly dense with good dialog and world building that it almost feels like time is not passing in the slightest.
In the time you could read the first Harry Potter book, the sorcerer's stone at 76,944 words we've reached around 100,000 words with this story at Chapter 20 and only now have we reached the morning after the MC is sorted.
It truly feels like a ton of the dialog and world building could maybe be spliced/moved over to a time when the MC has already started being in Hogwarts, helping the plot move along.
As is, this story is moving at a glacial pace, which isn't necessarily bad, it's just my opinion at the end of the day.
Other than that, thnx for the story and I hope you keep updating
tldr: writing quality is phenomenal, but feels like there's no time passing/no movement in the plot
