Half-Bloods of Avis: Celesia School for the Demigods

The Celesians, the twelve gods residing on top of the unseen Mount Celesia, are the rulers of the four nations that make up the world. Outside the nations is the land where monsters lurk, a place wherein no one dares to venture. The heroes, the mortal children of the gods living on a floating island called Avis, train and study at the most prestigious school in the world, Celesia School for the Demigods, to fight monsters and protect humankind. At age five, they are brought to the island. When they turn eighteen, they are given a choice:leave or stay.

Growing up in different foster homes before the Havenflows adopted her when she was eleven, Theia is now a freshman in high school who is isolated from her peers for being a snow—a condition that makes people believe they are descended from half-bloods—in a town where everyone else looksnormal.

After a horde of monsters invaded her classmate’s house party and left eighteen casualties, a surprising demand is made by their nation: the half-blood responsible of saving the victims must be taken into custody.He is not a hero, they say,if he has innocent blood on his hands. Humanity declares that were he only not involved in the massacre which killed over a hundred people seven years ago, the recent disaster could have been just another tragic misfortune.

Avis will not allow such disrespect, however. Now, the world hangs by a thread as the heroes announce their deadly retaliation…
