Those who stay face many challenges to keep their world alive. Though splintered, Earth still retains hope underfoot. Gaia, who emerged to save Her people that day.
But ever since, she has remained dormant and hidden from the world when they needed her most. That is, until one Illian Jones answered her pleas. Despite his blue-collar occupation as an intergalactic diamond miner, Illian learns he is destined for greater things.
He is the only one who can speak to Gaia. He is one of many Messengers who speak for their Gods in the mortal coil. In all iterations, they call their congregation Guardium.

- KirbyisgreenRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The author has a unique writing style. It takes a little bit to get used to but eventually, it starts to flow pretty well.
The story is still early but it was a interesting read. Gave me some inspiration about a future sci fi novel for myself. Sci fi is a difficult genre to write, its commendable. - Xel Vi CoronataRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Story: 4/5
Guardium follows Illian as he picks up a legacy of thoughts, granted to him by no other but the Earth itself. Anointing him as a Messenger, he is sent to save the world. Usual story and all, really. It's an interesting premise, but said premise probably needs to be fleshed out earlier...
Style:4/5
The flow of the story is done reasonably well, but there are little things that do detract from it. While it doesn't quite sing, there is a small charm in how things are phrased and written. Improvements on sentence structure should help ease the issues in the area in particular. Stylistic guides for writing can help in this regard.
Grammar: 4/5
Odd choice of words and weird sentence structures pop up once in a while, resulting in raised eyebrows, but unless you're sensitive to these issues, it's still very much readable. Running this through some eyes and an editing software should clean it up nicely. That said, the author clearly has a proficient grasp on English; one can expect the quality to only go up from here on.
Character score: 4.5/5
The main character is not a hero by training, and it shows. Somewhat snarky, somewhat cynical, Illian is a good example of someone who fell into the cockpit without much to start off from. In a sense, he is both compelling and relatable.
Overall: 4.5/5
