Description

Engineers have serious issues I'm telling you! We spend our days building things that refuse to work half the time, cursing them out , cry in a corner when we see the project expenditure and go home vowing to not return, yet come back the next day all bright eyed and ready to do it again.

Kenji, a brilliantarmament engineer,is killed by his own mech suit and is reborn in another world where he assumes the identity of Alberich von Eisenwerk, the youngest son of a Count. As he learns about the world he is now forced to inhabit, he sets about his engineer ways to better the lives of his people while also making a nice chunk of change along the way.

This story isn't your typical isekai power fantasy. It's about building cool stuff with limited resources and thatENGINEER GRINDSET.

What to expect?

-Engineeringwith a splash of Economics and Politics

- Modern tech, being recreated in a late medieval era setting

- Comedy (its a coping mechanism) and a decent portion of slice of life

-MACHINES BABY! MACHINESSSSSSS.

A very realistic depiction of an average engineer's life! The first chapter of Grimoires to Gears: Engineering in Another World drops us into the life of Alberich, a modern engineer who gets reincarnated as a noble baby in some medieval mining town. Dude's got a baby body but has big-brain energy, which makes for some funny and intresting moments. He’s already over the basic lessons and dying to check out the iron mines, classic engineer grind. The humor, world-building, and his dynamic with the maid Amelie (who’s super sweet, btw) make it a solid start. Definitely has potential for a fun mix of isekai shenanigans and problem-solving. thumbs up so far!
