Description
Grimjack the Eviscerator never really cared for Christmas, but with the horde weakened from a recent attack by the Stridian Armada, he has no choice but to go to Santa Claus for help. He arrives at the North Pole to find that he can't turn in the Christmas wish granted to him by the Bajorin Alliance because Santa has gone missing! So, he reluctantly teams up with an unlikely group of heroes to try and save Christmas before the Torellians can harness the sadness of a year without presents and finish off the horde.
Will Grimjack learn the true meaning of Christmas, or will his blood stained heart stay hardened to the truth hidden behind all the presents and decorations?

- Mad SadieRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Do you want a Christmas story that doesn't involve miscommunications with royalty, someone who makes less than minimum wage becoming the love interest for someone from a city, or small children being abandoned by negligent parents?
Well this is the story for you! It has chainsaws, it has Orphan Crushers, it has space battles! Granted, I don’t know how it ends yet, but already I am 100% invested in the life and emotions of Grimjack and his relationship with his sister, Grimjill.
On the technical side of things, the grammar is about perfect, the style is good, the characters we’ve met so far feel real, and the story is great.
Basically, if you see that title and think “huh, that sounds like something I might like” then it is. Trust me. It is.

If you packaged this as a holiday television special and played it every year, that would be the absolute best Christmas present you could get me. This story takes one great character, puts them in a Christmas mystery, and hopefully, will wrap it up in a nice bow.
Style wise, this story comes with great pacing and detailed plot. It gives the vibe of a tv special with just enough surrealism and action to keep an audience interested. Dialogue feels right fir the characters and you get a solid feeling for the world at large.
Grammar wise, I saw nothing that distracted me or took me out if the story, so great work. As always, I will complain about having to talk about grammar. This section only helps when it's bad.
Story wise, this is amazing. At first it feels like it will go all over the place, but it centers in quickly. Given a package to go to Earth and give it to Santa. Beautiful. A mystery afoot? Even better. Well done.
Character wise. So far we only really have Grimjack and Jangle. Grimjack is well defined and Jangle compares and contrasts to him beautifully.
Overall, I wasn't expecting this to be nearly as good as it is. I'm excited for future chapters to see where it goes.
