Description

In a cave in the middle of nowhere, a greenskinned, sharp-fanged creature named Steal is born unceremoniously into the world of Kyros. Talentless, he finds his first mentor in Bluud, a goblin born at the same time as him, though one that seems awfully more put together. Bluud will only be the first of many to show Steal the ropes and how to survive and thrive in the world of Kyros.

this story is good though it may just be me, but it feels a lot like the story everybody-loves-large-chests
that said it is well done
    it keeps to its style
    the grammar is good
    the character's  seems well developed
story wise im a little unsure on as this review is made in the early life of the story, a few plots have been trown about and all you can do as a reader is to wait for them to be drawn in

The action scenes so far have been quite nice, and I like the stat and levelling system, even though it's not been super explained. So far, there's been little character progression, but so far because the chapters are a little short, there aren't that many words.

    loving this so far.
always good to see goblins and having there monster nature as a racial job class is very neat keep it up.

Compulsory mood breaks, every time I get used to the flow Author would activate his deus ex and give me more BS, by the chapter 40 there's so much BS that I simply forgot this story was about a goblin named Steal.

DISCLAIMER: As of writing this review, I'm only up to chapter 60 of the novel.
    Style:
Onyx2K, the author, has an admittedly inconcistent 'voice' in his writing, alhough their 'style' is often quite detailed, descriptive and dynamic, they make use of a very wide vocabulary and the pace that the fights feel like they should be read at feels natural, however, in the more 'down-to-earth', calmer sections of the story, some descriptions feel somewhat lackluster. Frankly, it isn't the story that is at fault, it's just that Onyx sometimes to fall short in the technical aspects of their writing.
    Grammar:
Onyx's grammar is very good, most small issues arise from the incorrect use of words such as "where, were, we're" and "there, their, they're"; though, much like the rare spelling error, these issues are usually remedied quite early on after intial chapter release.
    Story:
Onyx seems to be regularly hinting that their is something bigger going on than Steal's  rather short, but action-packed adventure so far

and after contacting the author on his discord server, he answered some questions of mine that confirm my feeling.
we've seen very little of the civilised world so far in the world of Kyros, though what we have seen leaves a strong impression, but raises just as many questions as Steal's time in civilised places answers. I myself am very curious about how Adventurer's guilds function, and after looking at the world map Onyx showed off, I'm very curious about the giant, carved out piece of land on it. For the story that has actually happened, alot of it has been strings of fights and events that bring our cast together, I'm giving the story such a highscore, because, if Onyx holds up to what he's told me, I'll happily be in for one hell of a ride soon.
    Character:
The character rating is quite a difficult one for me to give, as the way that Onyx has presented his cast means that whilst their personalities are distinct, and some of their drives are clear, th

As my first review on the site, this has been a difficult one for me to write. I've read a long ways into the novel so far and I believe that although the novel has a somewhat weak start, it continues to pick up as the scope of the world broadens and more characters are introduced.
If you're willing to go through the first dozen chapters of relatively average writing, I'm sure you'll find something amazing on the other side.
    Pros
    Strong Characters
Good grammar, with most issues that pop up being fixed
Consistent LITRPG mechanics, with rules that mean that numbers aren't everything
Author seems genuinely enthused about there work and looks like they want to interact with their readers
    Action scenes are especially well-written
Exposition dumps aren't thrown into the story and informations comes from things that characters say/elude to or Author's Note chapters that show up every so often.
    Cons
Some characters feel like they have weak characterisation (Aera being my biggest gripe)
Chapters are quite short, although very short initially, they even out to be 1000-2000 words.
Updates are irregular, the author seems to post in bursts before taking breaks for a while.
I think that although Greenskin is not a perfect product, nor does it appeal to everyone, it  is something genuinely good that will only get better as more time passes and Onyx builds more and more on there characters and world. That being said, I do believe that an editor would do the author a great deal of good, or simply for them to go back more on their previous work to improve it.
Plus, I want an audiobook just to here Steal's screeches.

As a previous reviewer mentioned this shares many parralels with everybody-loves-large-chests, but so far I find myself enjoying this more, as I find it hard to cheer on what is both literally and figuratively a monster, so Steal seems to be an MC more fitting to my taste.

Hmm.. aside from my generic title. At time only two chapters posted. Has good flow, reading well. I'm eager to see it grow.

STYLE: It was good. Great system when it comes to status screen albeit I'm confused why being a goblin is considered a job. Goblin is a racial class or simply a race.
STORY: Chapters are too short. And I can't fully immersed myself with the story because of that. And it becomes worst when the updates are too slow. The only saving grace of the story is that you have good storytelling skills.
    GRAMMAR: It was OK.
CHARACTER: Ughh. I hate idiots. The only thing that keeps me from giving this one star is because I know that goblins are supposed to be idiots.
    Spoiler: Spoiler
P.S I thought he was going to be a caster with the mage's staff and all. I was really disappointed when he got hunter instead.

I'm quite torn about this fiction to be honest.
The premise is the trending 'weak monster mc growing to strength through harrowing encounters and a bit of luck', which is one of my favorites but there are some glaring issues.
    Pros:
    Great premise
    Interesting worldbuilding and lore-crafting
wacky and more than  just stereotypical characters
    Cons:
    Depictions often superficial
MC's internal processes and thoughts are glossed over, making some of his actions incomprehensive
Unclear narrating style in the beginning, switching from internal to observer POV and from omniscient to limited (it gets better)
All in all, it's like the author is presenting you with just the compressed end product of what he's imagining to take place. In turn making all but the physical action scenes a bit lackluster. Adding the unclear narrating style, this story sometimes appears unstructured and all over the place. But there is hope! The author himself has stated that while this has started out as a mere hobby he will try to complete the story. You can also see clear improvements in the aforementioned problematic areas.
Grammar and Vocabulary are lacking in several ways but it's probably going to be fixed later on. I want to point out though that the mistakes seldom break the immersion.
Summing it up: It's an entertaining read if you get over the quality problems and you can see it being a seedling to greatness. I'm rooting for you, Onyx2K
