- zeldaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love it. I love the way the author define how he interact with 'new' people. The author writing style quite unique, fresh, charming at the same time full of wits. I can't point any grammatical error in a sentence since this story hypnotize me to read it more. The flow of the story is very smooth, excited little immortal king want to experience new world with his new friend, I'm looking forward for more. Thank you and keep up the good work..
- DeltaSquaddieRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0as you can see this fiction is so good that it has ruined my usage of adjectives
getting to the point the grand weaver is a breath of fresh air and entails a great beginning as far as i can tell it has great potential to be within the top storys as long as its done right! - HalfpawRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Incredible! Very good start! This story has a very immersive character and already the universe itself is fleshed out in a believable, yet entertaining way. It is a well done example of show and tell and holds excellent, exciting potential. Please continue and thank you for the well written introduction!
- SaphyronRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Now that the story is over I feel like it's my duty to give my opinion on this piece of work.
This story is an authors pet project to get better, its quite short but has interesting dialogue and character development, there is an unexpected twist and turns along the way, and odd but good ways to introduce a new magic system.
The world building while not super detailed, it does its job to give us a background story and reference point.
This is not a story one reads to be 100% immersed for hours but a story that will draw you in and wish there is more.
The grammar is quite good, a few mistakes here and there but far above the average on this site.
I can recommend this story to all who wants a different experience compared to the rest of the site, but also to everyone who wants to read something good. - GrargRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5One of the best starting arcs on RR. All of the characters are well introduced and none of them feel wooden. The transitions between different POVs are seamless and work together to introduce the characters bit by bit. The use of alternate languages is well done and none of Nerim's forays into the new world he's woken up to feel unnatural.
As it is only the beginning, I can't say for sure how things will turn out but hopefully the author will maintain this kind of quality into the future. - saoRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I like the style, how you didn't translate the language so that we would understand them while the other characters didn't. Truly a smart move.. it made us feel apart of this story, kinda haha
I also like the path the story are taking, the MC will get to know the unknown since he dosen´t know about other continents and so on, which means he won't keep being bored and the same will go for us readers haha
Great grammar man, really liked it.. Hardly any mistakes found, just a couple typos that dosen´t really destroy the flow!
And for the character, it´s too early to say anything other than i truly hope the MC will act more badass in the future, he´s the immortal weaver king after all!! - FickleRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I consider this fiction one of the more original and thought out I have encountered on this website. The magic system is interesting, characters have nice personalities and stick by them, and you show very well that people have emotions and aren't just programmed people that do the same thing every time they meet an obstacle.
The story itself isn't as interesting to me as I thought it would be in the beginning, mostly because I think there is no real progress. You are using the same setting (camp) for quite a bit, and I honestly feel like nothing much has happened there, other than moving from spot to spot and throwing magic around. This was a real bummer for me, as I feel that unless something more interesting happens, I might drop this fiction. (I don't think teaching people magic is an event) - this is 100% my opinion.
Grammar is good, but the spacing sometimes leaves me a bit confused.
Characters are actually what make this fiction work so well, and the diversity between them. They learn, adapt and have unique ways of thinking through things. Despite all the weird mix of people, they seem to blend in rather well between themselves, and I think this is the main savior of this fiction.
All in all, this was a very interesting read and I shall come and check how the story develops and may change my review accordingly. I know you have plans for things to happen, but my current score is what I consider your current chapters to be. - kevinnerRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0if i remember correctly you were the author of ovallord right? on skythewood.
- ElsebeRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Main character setup remind me of 'dragon clawing its own tail', which i happen to like very much.
Text is fluent, and easy to read. Sofar text hasnt sidetracked too much from the MC. different POV's fit in nicely and dont take too long to get back to MC side.
Keep on writing, waiting for new chapters already. - AkisuRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Very good so far (25 chapters)
Good characters, nice pace and i like the setting.
