"Come one, come all to the most infamous military powerhouse. The future is bright, the families of the world are happy, so why not come down!" — This is what the propaganda kept repeating over and over again every day. It would always work too. It hooked every young mind that didn't know what to do after high school. The world is different now. Eighteen cities emerged, each with distinct leadership. Some are laissez-faire. Others are heavily authoritarian. Truths were kept silent, unknown hostiles were causing disasters, and yet not one inch of care came from the everyday people of strong-suited cities.

Oscar Garnier, 19 years of age, worked at a small bookstore tucked in a small neighborhood in one of the eighteen cities. The military recruitment videos on TV and the controlled internet had captured Oscar, just like they had many other young men and women. He had nothing going for him, and the benefits would help his family immensely. His city was not that fortunate. Everyone is aware of this from birth. The year 2234 in the past was said to be a fully futuristic period, yet things don't always go as planned.
