But lately, something strange has been happening to Kael. Shadows seem to shift when he’s near, and a dagger he’s carried for years has started humming with a power he can’t explain.

Now Kael must decide whether to embrace the power inside him or risk losing control entirely. With Aric and the enigmatic Lyra—who harbors secrets of her own—by his side, Kael is drawn into a conflict that will take him far beyond the city he knows, into a battle that could reshape the world itself.
